A female is sitting in the chair that usually belongs to the Luna and as | know that Uncle Cameron's Mate died a

couple of years ago | wonder if he has decided to take a chosen Mate but hearing Camden | know she is hoping

for something she isn’t going to get.

“Claire, what are you doing in that seat? | believe my Father has made it very clear that you will never become

this Pack’s Luna” Camden growls and | get this feeling that dinner is going to be . Claire looks at Camden

with a disgusted look in her eyes and hear Twilight growling in my head, she really doesn’t like this lady.

As | look at the table | can see that the seats of all the High-ranking Wolves and Lycans in this pack are empty,

not because this Pack doesn’t have High-ranking Wolves and Lycans but because they aren’t present yet and it

is going to be a shit show when Uncle Camden shows up.

| ask Gerald and Victor if both their parents are still alive and after they confirm that they are | count the seats

from the head of the table, 3 seats on Uncle Cameron's right hand side for Camden, his Beta and his Mate. From

the Luna seat | count 3 seats on the left for Cassandra, his Gamma and his Mate.

Gerald and Victor will be seated next to their Mothers and | decide to take the seat next to Victor, after all | am a

Gamma. | sit down in the chair | counted would be available forand | decide to wait patiently for the

| hear Pack-members walking into the dining room, each of them starts whispering when they see Claire and it is

clear to see that they don’t like her much. “Are you fucking deaf? | asked you a question and | demand an

answer.” Claire yells atand | slowly rise from my seat, Camden moves my chair back while, Gerald and Victor

step to the side.

“Who | am, is none of your fucking business. | have every right to sit at this table, but from what | heard you

don’t. I am going to give you a choice, either you leave this table willingly or I am going to allow my Lycan to

help you.” | say as | stalk towards her, allowing Twilight to push forward.

Claire is baring her neck in submission, but Twilight and | are not backing down and it only takes a minute for

Claire to crumble to her knees. “Zalia, calm down.” | hear Uncle Cameron says, his voice is soft and gentle as he

speaks and when he places his hand on my shoulder | feel a bit calmer than before.

His other hand wraps around my waist and as he pullsagainst his chest | inhale his scent, calmingand

growls and I finally understand why Claire was on her knees a few moments ago, we had released our Alpha

aura. “Twilight, you need to calm down. Our aura is suffocating her, we can’t control it like Uncle Cameron can.”|

Not because | believe Claire deserves to keep breathing but because it isn’t our place to punish her for the

disrespect she showed us and it seems that Twilight understands me. She drons Claire to the floor and

It takes a few moments forand Twilight to calm down and when | look up at Uncle Cameron | see it wasn't

just him that calmed us down. “Thank you both for calmingand Twilight down. | am not sure what would

have happened if you hadn’t been here.” | say to Uncle Cameron and his Lycan.

“Don’t worry, Canyon and | will always have your back Uncle Cameron says before he places a kiss on my

forehead. He turns towards two of his Warriors, “Take Claire down to the dungeons, | will deal with her later.” He

says as he guidesto the head of the table, e waits there withby his side until the two Warriors are back

and everyone has taken a seat.

“Sof you grew up with my baby Brother Benjamin and the rest of you were told about him by your

Grandparents, parents or teachers. You all know | was never able to find out where he and his Mate went and it

saddensto tell you that Benjamin lost his Mage a few years ago.” Uncle Cameron allows his Pack- members a

few moments to process the information.

“Benjamin is the Gamma of Moon Stone Pack, his Son Slater is the future Gamma of Little River Pack and his

Daughter was to becthe Gamma of Moon Stone Pack.” A lot of Pack-members start to murmur, they all

seem to think | am dead. “Sorry, if that cout wrong. His Daughter is still very much alive, this is Zalia and

she is Benjamin's Daughter.” Uncle Cameron says as he look

at me.

Uncle Cameron has to explain why | won't be the next Gamma of Moon Stone Pack and to say they are pissed off

is putting it mildly. After that he tellsto sit down in the Luna seat, “You are a part of this family and you

showed Claire you won't accept disrespect from anyone, you earned this seat.” Uncle Cameron says as | try to

object.

During and after dinner | talk to a lot of Pack-members hearing stories about my Father as a young Pup and even

a story or two about my Mother. “Okay, | hate to break up this party but Zalia has an assignment to fulfill and

that means we have to leave for Onyx Moon Pack.” Camden says and | see a lot of exited faces.

‘Gerald's Father has set up a screen in the dining room to make sure Camden's stream of the party can be seen

by anyone that wants to see it and sof the Pups have already worn out their parents by continuingly asking

to stay up late. At first they were reluctant as it is a school night, but Uncle Cameron gave them the first two

hours off in the morning.

He had said it was important that the Pups learned that bias isn’t a good trade for someone, that everyone

should be valued for their worth and not their gender. One of the teachers turned it into an assignment for the

Pups, they are to write about what they see tonight and what they would do differently.

There are so many youngsters going to the party that it is very easy forto cross the border and once we are

getting close to the Pack-house | keep my eyes on Cassandra, while Camden, Gerald and Victor take a different

route to the Pack-house. “Finn and his leadership are on the back porch, Gerald says their devices are still on

“Alive” and Camden already got his hands on their rulebook.” Cassandra whispers to

| am walking behind sbulky males and | guide two of them towards a tree at the edge of the clearing with

my hands, it is the perfect place to hide in. No one looks in my direction because they don’t want anyone to

noticeand four of the males sit down under the tree with Cassandra.

There are too many people surrounding Finn and his leadership at the moment and I just lie there on the branch

listening to the music that is playing. Lying on my back I look up at the stars to see clouds flowing by, | can see

that the moon is almost full and | am reminded of the fact that tomorrow is the Full Moon.
