menacing and ferocious dog that was descending from above.
The creature’s piercing howl resonated with destructive power, easily shattering Jared’s golden light. Brad leaped
into the air to stand on the dog’s body, towering above Jared.
“Jared, this is a hellhound. No one can escape from its jaws,” Brad declared frostily. “Ha! This entity made of
negative energy hardly deserves to be called a hellhound. It’s quite amusing that you would even attempt to claim.

As Brad rode on the back of the hellhound, closing in on the immobile Jared, a sharp cry echoed through the sky,
piercing the tense atmosphere.
A blazing phoenix appeared above Jared’s head, its huge body shielding Jared from danger. As the phoenix flapped
its wings, the frosty energy, along with the frost covering Jared’s body, disappeared in an instant.
“That is a phoenix!” Hailey exclaimed excitedly. Santiago was taken aback, unable to comprehend why a phoenix
would unexpectedly appear to aid Jared in his dire situation.
