Amanda was angry now. Even though she was a unique figure in the male-dominated business world, her
presence was still intimidating.
“Yes, yes, you're right, Ms. Miller. I'll have them continue investigating right away,” the director stammered.
Chloe thought momentarily before suggesting, “There should be surveillance on set. Check the footage. Maybe
the power outage was deliberate.”
The director flinched at her words. “Deliberate?”
“Ms. Nelson, that’s impossible. No one in the crew would deliberately try to harm an actor.”
“Do you get to decide what's possible or not?” Chloe shot back.
The director was speechless again.
What Chloe said was true, so he had no choice but to
immediately inform the team on set to follow her and Amanda’s suggestion.
“We've kept the news about his injury under wraps, so no
paparazzi or reporters will bother him for now. But with so

The director quickly reassured them, “Don’t worry, I'll keep this under control. No one outside will know about
Christopher's injury.”
If the paparazzi got hold of the news, there would be no way to continue shooting the movie.
The atmosphere in the hospital hallway was tense. Michael called out to Chloe from outside the operating room,
and she and Amanda rushed over, with the director and his team following closely behind.
The doctor cout of the operating room and asked, “Who's the patient's family?”
Ainsley wiped the tears from her face and stood up, saying she
was.
“The patient fell from a significant height, causing a fracture and break in his arm. Although the surgery was
successful, | must warn you that his right hand may never fully recover.”
