Chapter 281 Catherine Was Really Ruthless

Inside a mountain villa on the remote outskirts of Casier, Paxton walked into the living room lightly with

a food box. After placing the food gently on the desk, he said, “Mr. Duncan, you haven’t eaten today.

You should have some food now!”

Branden didn’t even have any food today because of Catherine’s matter. Having just finished a phone

call, Branden was in a good mood. After putting down his phone, he picked up the food Paxton

brought, taking a bite every now and then.

During Branden’s mealtime, Paxton reported the most urgent matter at hand to him.

“Mr. Duncan, there is news from the hospital that the guy is currently experiencing massive bleeding in

his abdominal cavity, with almost all his ribs broken. He has fractured both leg bones and a

comminuted fracture of his right arm. A certain amount of accumulated blood in his brain must be

cleared before we can know how much he can recover!”

Listening to Paxton’s report, Branden’s expression remained expressionless. His deep and dark gaze

became increasingly severe as he chewed the food in his mouth. He lowered his eyes. His body

Branden parted his thin lips lightly and said coldly, “Ask the hospital not to treat him for now but keep

him alive and let him suffer the pain for a week.” His voice was as gloomy and terrifying as if

“Kathy, you’re lucky to have met Uncle Adrien back today. Whenever he comes back, grandparents will

have a friendly face to anyone.”
