The shadows were enough to occupy him, but nothing more past that. We were locked in a situation where we both were not able to deliver any damage at all. At least without bringing anything more to the table.
He was the first one to do that, summoning a storm above our heads. His body reacted to it, and his eyes started glowing blue while releasing discharges of energy on his face. The same little lightning boys were jumping all over him, and he got even faster.
I shadow walked a few timed to gain distance while trying to block him with Shadow fiends, but they weren't enough. I needed something better, bigger, stronger.
- Come! - I shouted.
And a gigantic hand emerged from the ground behind me, shooting high into the sky. It fell down quickly, smashing into the blaze and breaking the plates ad enormous fingers dug into the ground.
The second arm did the same, both around three hundred meters long.
The moloch climbed its way from the depths of the Void, as I did my best to run away. Ghost ignored the giant beast blocking a whole part of the world, but not for long. My summon released a low growl, making the air around us vibrate, and then smashed his giant hand over the enemy's head, sending me flying in the process.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe force was incredibly strong, and the plaza couldn't withstand it. Blates were shattered, and bits were sprayed all around.
Then a powerful lightning bolt created by several more combining into one struck the giant, and he burst into smoke. The ghost was still, alive, although definitely took some damage, and had to dig himself from the ground. I had maybe a second or two, enough for me to extend a left hand and use 'Conjure The Void' to create a sphere of complete darkness that enveloped him completely.
A hand emerged from it, and then it fell off as it got cut from the rest of the arm, and then it burst into smoke, just like the bubble. Only a single dark red crystal was left.
I made the rest of my army return to the Void and went to pick up the trophy myself.
It was the first time when I witnessed how powerful this skill actually was. It had one important weak point though. It would never work on something with a connection to the Void, and many ghosts actually had it. I simply was lucky this time.
With the trophy in my hands, I shadow walked back to Loistavadvaar, to spend the points. The crystal was worth 184 955 222 191 000 regular points, and 4797 class ones.
I started by increasing three of my combat abilities. Dexterity, strength, and constitution. All 120 000 times.
Then I bought 'Air magus' hoping I will finally get a skill that would allow me to fly, but I didn't. Instead, I got something pretty close to that.
The class gave me access to the following skills: 'Control air III', 'Create air III', 'Mana III', 'Living air II', 'Suffocate II', 'Step of the wind', 'Wind barrier', 'Swirling winds'.
'Step of the wind' would create a burst of air under my fit, accelerating my speed, but also making me able to travel in the air with those bursts.
'Wind barrier' was a shield I could put in the space, or around me, that would create pressure between it and the incoming objects blocking them, or significantly slowing down.
'Swirling winds' allowed me to basically create small tornados.
I upgraded all of them fully, unlocking 'Wind lord'.
The class gave me access to the following skills: 'Control air IV', 'Create air IV', 'Mana IV', 'Living air III', 'Suffocate III', 'Step of the wind II', 'Wind barrier II', 'Swirling winds II', 'Fly', 'Raging winds'.
'Fly' not only allowed me to do it, but also to grant the ability to others. As long as they remained in the distance of few kilometers.
'Raging winds' winds was a more aggressive version of 'Swirling winds'. I could basically go for a full cyclone or typhoon, and devastate the whole area.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmI also upgraded all of those skills fully and unlocked 'Emperor of winds', which I didn't take since I got what I wanted from the whole thing.
Instead, I went for the 'ArchInfernalist'. It was pretty pricy and would put my dream of getting the 'Wrath of the void' further in time, but I was counting on a significant increase in my firepower.
I'll let the skill list answer the question if it did, or not. I got access to the following ones: 'Control flame V', 'Create flame V', 'Mana V', 'Fire resistance IV', 'Combustion IV', 'Chained combustion III', 'Living flame III', 'Scorch III', 'Spontaneous combustion II', 'Flame mastery II', 'Volcano eruption', 'Meteor shower', 'Summon inferno'.
'Volcano eruption' would cause a lava eruption from the ground, as long as there was some down there, and basically create a volcano.
'Meteor shower' would create thousands of fireballs in the air, and make them rain on a large area, basically destroying everything.
'Summon inferno' would increase the temperature in the air to over a hundred degrees Celsius, cooking living things, and setting on fire most others. It was another AoE skill.
After all of that, I still had some points to use, but since the fancy skills were so pricy, I wasn't able to afford them, so I decided to just save what I had, and maybe spend it on something else later.
Hoping the ruckus I made will attract another ghost, I went to get some rest, and focus a bit more on writing, since my story was still in very early stages compared to all the things that happened. Back then I had no idea about all the other crazy stuff that was still coming my way.
At that point in time, I was still putting the story of me and Mark on the paper. Which was kinda funny, when I tried to recall all those emotions.
If it would happen right now, I could deal with that asshole with just a simple flick of a finger.
I quickly realized that I need to adjust my seal after attempting to grab a pen since I just broke it. So yea, that's how the rest of the day went....
