Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Thinking of how she was scolded by Frederick that day, Alicia felt inexplicably heartbroken.

At the stime, Frederick also remembered the sincident. His face was obviously getting paler. Mrs. Clements was rolling her eyes at him as well. Regardless of what Danica said, she was still a guest. She hadn't seen them for years and she cto visit Mrs. Clements with gifts. Due to all these reasons, Frederick still put up with her.

Simultaneously, Alicia accidentally gulped down a piece of sea cucumber. Unfortunately, it got stuck in her throat.

Holding her chest, Alicia let out a few short gasps.

She almost threw up at the table.

Looking at Alicia, Frederick patted her on the back intuitively. "Careful. Are you okay? Here! Have swater!" Meanwhile, looking at Alicia who almost threw up, Mrs. Clements eyes brightened up. "Ally, what's wrong? Do you think you might be pregnant?" Hearing what Mrs. Clements had just said, Alicia stopped coughing. Her face reddened. At that instant, she just couldn't tell Mrs. Clements that she was actually just distracted and got choked by a piece of sea cucumber.

At the stime, Danica's face becpale instantly.

Alicia held her breath and gulped on two glasses of water, swallowing the sea cucumber forcibly. Moments later, she calmly replied, "Grandma, Frederick and I will work harder!" Alicia didn't admit nor deny. Her answer was vague but it still hit Danica hard like a direct and powerful punch in the stomach.

Later on, Danica didn't say anything until the dinner ended. Alicia's mood was not better than Danica's either. Later, they sat down in the living room and rested for a while. Moments later, Danica got up and left as she couldn't stand it anymore.

At the stime, Frederick stood up and said, "Grandma, I'll send Danica home. Let Ally stay with you for a while. I'll cback later to pick her up." Mrs. Clements figured out that Frederick had something to tell Danica. "Okay! Off you go! Cback earlier and be safe on the road!" Both Danica's car and Frederick's car reached a quiet lake. Then, they got out of their cars and went for a walk.

After walking away for a while, Danica stopped and turned around. She tugged on her hair and started to shout in an agitated tone.

"What do you want from me? Why are you doing this to me? Why didn't you tellshe was there in the first place? Are you trying to embarrass me? Are you trying to showyour affection for her?" Frederick frowned while putting his hands in his pockets. He kept his distance from Danica and started to speak in an angry tone, "Danica, you were way too over tonight!" "What did you just say?" Danica was startled by Frederick's anger. She couldn't understand why she was blamed when she was the one that got bullied.

"Con. Do you really think I didn't know what you were doing tonight? Saying all those things, I saw right through your plan! Danica, Alicia is my wife. I care about her and I love her. It's normal for us to be lovey-dovey. Why didn't you wait forbefore you went in? Why didn't you listen to me? And no, I didn't know Alicia was there. Did you know that I canceled my dinner with Mr. Andrews and chere? I was here to stop you from talking nonsense! Why wouldn't you understand me? Yet, Danice still made a fool out of herself.

If it wasn't Alicia who was being sensible, the condition could be worse. With her relationship with Mrs. Clements at present, if Danica really wanted to show affection to Frederick, could she win against Alicia? She was just his ex-girlfriend while Alicia was his wife. Apparently, Alicia was on the upper hand.

"Are you saying that I said all those things purposely? You've changed! You really have changed! Are you doubting my intentions now? I just want to see Grandma! It was embarrassing fortoo! I've been holding up for everyone's sake. Why would I be willing to do this if I didn't love you? I worked so hard just to get your approval and all I got was your recrimination. You've changed. So has Grandma. All of you don't loveanymore..." Danice suddenly kneeled and wrapped herself in her arms as she burst out in tears.

Blinking his eyes, Frederick clenched his fists in his pocket. Why couldn't she understand that her current status was different? Did she still think that she could talk it out just like back then? Frederick let her cry and remained where he was.

When Danica stopped crying, Frederick took out a handkerchief and handed it to her.

"Danica, I have already made myself clear. In the future, please don't do such silly things again! I won't change my mind about what I've decided. We can't revert things that have already passed! Please treat yourself better. You always said that... that the old Danica was a princess with pride!" "I don't want my pride and I don't want to be a princess! Frederick, I want you. I only care about you! Why didn't you wait forback then? Why-" Pulling his clothes, Danica was choking with sobs again.

After she left, Frederick actually went to find her once. But, her parents said they didn't know where she went! They told him that she might have gone abroad to relax. Before she left, the last message she left was a text saying, "Sorry, I love you!" Frederick always thought that Danica left this message because she took his contract.

Yet, he didn't know that what actually happened was something he couldn't expect.

It was hard for him to imagine what had happened to Danica. He felt sorry when he looked at her skinny body. Frederick had always felt that Danica had her own difficulties. He had always felt that she had a rough life for the past six years but what he didn't expect was that she had such a miserable encounter.
