"What's this?" Lauren asked.

Frowning, Lauren was still slightly confused. Wasn't that the famous business street at the south of the

university?

She knew that there were many vendors in that area, and there were many lofts available for renting as well.

The business there was great, as the place was close to a university. However, during the past two years, the city

was rectified, and many illegal buildings were demolished. The business street was no longer as packed as

before, but it brought on a refreshed scene and atmosphere.

She was pretty familiar with the business street, as she used to shop and have meals there. The street that was

separated from the university by only a wall. However, was there anything wrong?

Also, the picture of the scene was taken during daytime.

The incident happened at night, so how was the picture going to help?

After looking at it for stime, Lauren didn't see anything wrong with it, and just shook her head

unconsciously. Just then, Sharon took out a magnifying class from the drawer and handed it to her, then pointed

at a spot in the picture. "This is the important part!" she said.

After that, she took out another picture of the entrance of the lab before the explosion happened, and placed it

next to the picture. Then, she covered the people in the pictures with a random ncard. "Look in these two

directions..." she said.

Lauren spotted something strange, and an idea flashed across her mind. "Are they surveillance cameras? Are

you saying that the surveillance cameras of the building on the opposite could've taken footage of the entrance

of the lab?" Sharon nodded and explained.

"| also have just discovered this by accident today! | believe that many people only limited the range of the

incident to the school and its surroundings, but they didn't notice that one of the buildings on the opposite street

had surveillance cameras installed! According to my analysis, from this distance and angle, the entrance of the

lab should've been clearly caught in the footage. | went to take a look tonight deliberately when | went to buy

sthings, and | did see the red light, meaning that the surveillance cameras were functioning. However, |

didn't dare to approach them rashly, as | was worried that it might alert the enemy, and I'm not as skilled as you

are in combat after all! It's just that it's been stsince the incident, and | don't know who lives in the

building, so I'm not sure if the footage is still there. That's why it's only considered half a good news!

"I understand now! If we can get the surveillance camera footage, and prove the sequence of us entering the

an image that shows it!" Lauren said. "Yes, that's what | meant! You're more familiar with that place, and I think

we should do it as soon as possible. We'll go there together tomorrow, and I'll get one of my police friends to

follow us and protect us! We'll try to get the footage in our first attempt, in case they delete the footage

afterwards. As long as they haven't all been deleted, we'll still be able to recover the footage. If we're really that

unlucky, well look around for other similar surveillance cameras. Don't worry, no one can escape the law, and I'm

entire set of equipment, and brought over a group of lawyers and technicians, so we finally agreed to it! The

current set of surveillance equipment is brand new!"

Upon hearing that, they remained silent. Lauren's face was pale, as she had received a terrible blow.

That was the key evidence. If Zedd had thought about it already, he probably had destroyed all of the other

possible evidences as well.

In a daze, Lauren realized that her world had ccrashing down once again.

At that moment, Sharon remembered something. She took out a photo from the document folder and handed it

to them.

"Mrs. McGowan, was this the man who cover to take it away? Can you tell us more about the day when he

cover? Were there any surveillance cameras that had possibly captured the scene or the presence of

anyone special that day?" Sharon asked. If they were able to find counter evidence, they could still have a

chance.

The moment Sharon spoke, Lauren returned to her senses as well, and looked at them with a pleading gaze.

"Was it not him?" Lauren asked.

Lauren and Sharon gave each other a relieved glance. "Mrs. McGowan, can you take another look to make sure

that it wasn't him?"

As she spoke, Sharon took out a few more pictures from the document folder that showed Zedd's side and front

profile, and placed them in front of Mrs. McGowan.

Mrs. McGowan waved her hand, and smiled.

"I don't even need to see them, it wasn't him! | can't be wrong! Lettell you, my husband even argued with
