MAYA It is all over the news that Ryan William's children are missing. They went as far as placing a reward on their head for anyone who provided meaningful information that could be used to find them.

I hope this Clover guy hides them well. He should make sure that the boys never return to their families. Maybe he can start by killing one of them and sending the body home, that way, they can be so distrustful and maybe lose it mentally.

My phone vibrated on the table, pulling my attention away from my thoughts. I reached for my phone and rolled my eyes when I saw her number.

Of course, she is going to call me, I have been waiting for her call for a very long time. Reaching for the phone, I swiped the receiver button and placed the phone to my ear.

"Do you have any good news forKerry?" I asked, lifting my fake nails and inspecting it.

"Ryan has not been coming to work." I froze, sitting upright. She is his secretary, if she says he has not been coming to work, then that is the truth. "How long has he been absent from the office?" "Two weeks," Kerry replied. "I have not seen him in person since his kids went missing, and I have been the one venting the documents, declining the ones I find unnecessary and forwarding the important ones to him." If he is distracted enough by the whole thing not to show up at the office, then that means he won't be paying much mind to the documents he is signing, so this will be the perfect tto slip something else into the stack of important documents for him to sign. Things wouldn't have gotten this far had he just giventhe estate and letbe.

"I will be sending you sdocuments that you will slip into the next stack of documents that you will send to him. Make sure he signs them and sends them back to me." Kerry paused. All I could hear was just the soft breathing from her end. I frowned. "Do you have anything against what I just said?" I demanded. "do I need to remind you that I am the reason you have a job? That I had to open my fucking legs to a stranger to make sure you make it to the final stage of the interview?" Kerry sighed. "I appreciate all that you have done forMaya, but I don't think this is the right way to go about this," she stressed, her voice trembling slightly. "We are going to get caught. I have that feeling in me." Maybe this bitch thinks I give a fuck about whatever feeling she is getting. "You think I have cthis far, told so many lies, done so many unspeakable things just forto listen to your feelings? Are you trying to be a fucking comedian right now?" Kerry sighed. "What if we get caught?" she whispered. "I could get arrested." "And what if you wake up in a sudden strange place?" I fired back, "What if you sleep and wake up in a dark space, only to find out that you have been buried six feet below, where no one would find you?" I spat. "don't fucking mess with me." "Are you threateningMaya?" she asked, her disbelief obvious.

"You want to take it as a threat? Fine, be my fuckign guest, however, what I am telling you is what will happen." my fingers clenched the phone tightly. "If you fail to give him those documents, if you fail to get his signature on those documents, I will make my words a fucking reality." Everywhere fell silent.

The door to the room opened and Mum walked in. She eyedsuspiciously. "Are you okay? I had your voice from the other room." | I blinked at her, wondering if she had lost it. "I am on the phone mum, of course, you will hear my voice." I pointed to the door. "please leave." I don't want her overhearing my conversation and going soft onagain. "please leave and close the door behind you." For someone who was once a manipulator, she can be very soft and annoying sometimes.

"I am sorry for disturbing you." She turned and walked away, closing the door softly behind her.

I returned my attention to the phone.

"When should be expecting the signed document?" I hissed. "We don't have all the tin the worl need to accomplish all I want I to accomplish before Clover is caught because I know for a fact that he is getting caught.

"When am I receiving the documents?" Kerry asked.

"When are you sending out the documents?" I asked in return.

"As early as five in the morning." Then I should make sure those documents get to her very soon. I glanced at the clock on the wall. "In the next three hours, I am going to cover to the company. Meetat the parking lot when you see my call." "Sure." Clicking the end icon, I disconnected the call, rolled off the bed, and went straight to my laptop to search for the already drafted documents. When Clover ctowith his plan, I began preparing all I needed, and now, I have them all ready.

******* I met with Kerry at the parking as planned and handed her the documents, and she promisedthat they would be back by Tuesday, which is in two days.

After she walked out of the parking lot, instead of leaving, I decided to take a stroll to the company, after no everything was going to becmine soon enough. Walking past the rotating door, I stood in the lobby and stared at the elevator ahead, knowing that I wouldn't be let through without a visitor's passcard. I don't want to enter anyway, it is enough admiring it from here.

After watching to my heart's content, I turned to leave but I saw someone I would rather not see.

Sarah, Ryan's mum.

The way she strutted into the place with her security as if she owned it all.

Just as I was about to avoid her, she turned her gaze to the left and our eyes met. She halted and thosem perfectly lined eyes of hers narrowed.

Before I could think of what next to do, because I shouldn't even be here, to begin with, she began approaching me. "What are you doing here?" she demanded the moment she stopped before me.

Folding my hands, I wondered what Richard saw in this woman that he chose to be faithful and committed to her. "Ishould be asking you the squestion." I replied, my voice soft last I checked, you don't work here, and your son isn't even in the country."

"My son may not be in his stable mind right now, but that doesn't mean he is stupid." She retorted, "if I answer must answer your question, my son assignedto handle and run the company in his absence, and am to go thoroughly through all the documents before passing them over to him for his signature." I paled at her words. If what she is saying is true, then my plan is already a failure even before it began.
