"You're gonna teach me how to wield a god weapon?" Keng asked, jogging to catch up to Gorrum.

"Yes, why? You don't think I have a god weapon?" Gorrum raised his eyebrows.

"Well… I just… You know a lot about god weapons so I should trust you on that, but I'm having a hard time understanding how you, of all people, have one."

"I'll show you when we're in the clear. For now, let's get out of here." Gorrum motioned him to keep up.

"Ah, Gorrum, Keng. The whispers are true, you're here." Nabi greeted them with a wave.

"Ah, Nabi, you've gotten a couple more tails since I last saw you. How are you doing?" Gorrum asked, going in for a hug. The two hugged, beaming a smile.

"I'm doing well, Mr. Gorrum. Has the floating city kept you busy?" Nabi asked as they pulled away.

"It's an interesting time. The folks there are interseting and quite inquisitive, but the work is never boring. How about you? How's serving under Lady Vix'I? Thinking of quitting or something?"

"No, no. I could never. Lady Vix'I is very serious when it comes to her work, but she's never cruel. I'm glad to work under her and learn a lot." Nabi shook her hands. She looked over at Keng and smiled at him. She moved in for a hug. "And you! I've heard you came back a couple days ago! How are you doing? How's Lee Seng?" They hugged and Keng awkwardly gave her a pat before pulling away. His serious expression made her smile disappear.

"Did something happen?" Nabi asked.

"Well…" Keng rubbed the back of his head. "It's a long story."

"If you have a moment, Nabi, let's walk together." Gorrum motioned.

"Sure thing." Nabi nodded.

"Keng can tell you while we walk." Gorrum told them. As they made their way out of Dat'e, towards the West exit, Keng caught Nabi up on what had transpired. The forceful ejection out of Lee Seng's Soul world, falling and meeting Chrono, almost getting caught by Hunters, going to Daros and meeting General Halys in Revit, and eventually going to the Flowering Forest village for the Assessment test. He didn't leave a detail out. He trusted Nabi enough to let her in on his struggles.

They stood far away from the West gate as Nabi nodded and took in all of the information.

"Alot has happened since I've last saw you. I'm sorry you've had to go through that." Nabi told him.

"It's okay. I was pretty devastated about it and I still am but it doesn't mean I should stop myself from growing. If there is, indeed, a limited amount of time before the whole 'monster' thing happens, I want to go back to Earth before that happens." Keng told them.

"Do you have an accurate window?"

"If I did, I would tell you but I'm not sure. For now, I'm training with Gorrum because he knows a lot about god weapons." Keng pointed out. Nabi started to laugh. Keng looked at Gorrum who gave him a straight face shrug.

"Oh, you don't know half of it!" Nabi chuckled. She pointed at Gorrum. "This guy wields Nightbane, the Blood Scimitars of Asura. He has one of the most potent weapons when it comes to god weapons."

"I wouldn't say potent. They get the job done." Gorrum commented.

"That's why he's stationed in the floating city. That sort of firepower needs to be used to hunt down the evildoers there."

"Enough about what I do for a living." Gorrum hushed Nabi. "Let me show you the scimitars and we can go from there." Gorrum took a step back and Nabi and Keng watched as Gorrum's arms lit up. Red fiery thick marks appeared as his hands erupted into flames. A pool of rock and lava appeared, growing into pure lava as they began to quickly cool. A pair of red and black scimitars appeared in his hands. They were about thirty-one inches with curved blades.

"Woah." Keng uttered. "That's… That's cool." He wandered closer and Gorrum lifted them up for Keng to see. Gorrum had done this like he was used to it. "They're called what again?" Keng asked.

"Nightbane, the Blood Scimitars of Asura. Nightbane for short. They're fire-based scimitars. They're quick and pack a huge amount of damage, quickly."

"Cool, cool." Keng nodded.

"Now you summon Hydrosphere." Gorrum motioned. Keng looked down at his hands. He could see the marks on his wrists.

"How do I do that?" Keng asked.

"Think of it like you're calling the weapons forth into your hands. Manifest it like you manifest your powers."

"Okay, that can't be too hard." Keng readied himself and looked at his hands. He stared at them and concentrated.

'Come on. Hydrosphere daggers come out!' He looked at his hands and saw nothing.

"Hmm, maybe that wasn't enough concentration." Keng questioned. He decided he would try again. He tried a couple of times without success and sighed when he couldn't do it. Gorrum released the scimitars, releasing them as flames.

"You know how to control energy flow, correct?" Gorrum asked.

"Yeah." Keng nodded.

"It's like that, but you need to channel your energy to these points." Gorrum touched the marks. "Channel them here and call them forth. Just start by trying to channel them into this specific spot first. If you can pull them out, even better. We'll start with that."

"O-okay." Keng nodded.

"Let's find a place with shade." Gorrum started to look around. "It isn't a cool day so the suns might get harsh on us. Nabi, do you have anything to do?"

"No, I'm off duty. If Lady Vix'I needs me, I can fly over within seconds." Nabi answered.

"Alright, let's look for a shaded place then."

They walked around the field for awhile until they came across a forest line. Gorrum and Nabi led the way, catching up as Keng trailed behind. He had been focused on trying to channel DM energy into the marks. He kept feeling the energy surround his entire wrists. He sighed as he stepped into the shade and continued.

"Sit." Gorrum instructed. Keng didn't sit and Nabi chuckled.

"He does this sometimes." Nabi told him. "Keng!" Keng looked up.

"Yeah?" Keng answered.

"Sit down. We'll meditate to help you with channeling your energy." Gorrum instructed. Keng nodded and sat down. "Close your eyes and feel everything around you." Keng followed the instructions, closing his eyes. He took in slow deep breaths.

"Feel the energy all around you. Slowly start to feel your own energy. Pay attention to how it feels. Differentiate them." It was hard to differentiate the energies. They felt the same to him. He could feel his energy coursing in him while the energy outside was hard to read.

"It's… Hard to read the… Energy outside." Keng told them.

"Feel it first. Let it come to you." Gorrum answered. He meditated, trying to find this energy. His mind started to wander and he suddenly felt something odd. His face showed his worried as Gorrum and Nabi watched. His breathing slowly picked up and became more unstable.

"…it shall be finished…" A voice quietly called out. "…I…find….I found you." Keng gasped as he opened his eyes. He was sweating profusely as he looked around.

"Keng? What's wrong?" Nabi asked. She immediately climbed to her feet and wandered over to her.

"Wh-what was that?" Keng asked. "I… I was trying to but…" He started to become incoherent. He mumbled and the only thing she could catch was something about "the monster."

"Hey, hey, hey, it's alright." Nabi comforted him.

"He… He… What the hell?" He looked at Gorrum. Gorrum had been studying Keng. He didn't initially say much but nodded when Keng seemed to be waiting for him to say something.

"What did you see? What did you hear?" Gorrum asked.

"I saw nothing." Keng told him. "I-I-I was trying to feel for the energy outside but I felt something… I felt that thing. It… It said, 'it shall be finished' and 'I found you.' W-w-what did I just do?"

'Could he have unconsciously searched for the Vessel? They're on different Realms how is that possible?' Gorrum telepathically spoke to Nabi.

'It could be possible.' Nabi answered. She continued to comfort Keng as he tried to steady himself. 'If what he says is true, we have to be careful, Mister Gorrum. We don't want whatever has taken hold of Lee Sen to come here. It could cause a lot of problems.'

'But we must train him to fight it… He doesn't have a lot of time. It'll be long in terms of Daros time but it'll be short on Earth.'

'What does he have to do?' Nabi asked.

'Walk the path of Destiny and save the Golden Savior.'

Nabi looked at Keng as he wiped his sweat off. His breathing grew slow and he let out a sigh of relief.

"Do I have to do it again?" Keng asked.

"Let's do this," Gorrum stood up. "Let's do basics so you can understand what's supposed to happen since you're naturally gifted to feeling your Vessel Realms away."
