Cain put the watch on Lee Seng's right wrist. Once it was on, the God of Limbo was satisfied. He stepped back and nodded. He looked over at the other jewelry, trying to send a mental wavelength to his Debt Collector to pick another one. Lee Seng noticed Cain's glances and sighed.
"What? You want me to put them all on?" Lee Seng motioned at the jewelry.
"Mmmm." Cain thought aloud. "Maybe one more." Lee Seng groaned and fished through the jewelry.
"Anything?"
"Whatever catches your eye." Cain motioned.
'They're all infused with something for you anyways…' Cain thought to himself. Lee Seng grabbed the necklace. It had the least amount of flourish like the others. The emerald was too huge on the ring. The bracelet had intricate designs he assumed had some sort of expensive jewels and metal in it. The necklace looked like a regular old necklace. He put it on and Cain smiled.
"Good." Cain nodded. "That's all I wanted from you. I can take these off your hands then." He swiped the others and made them disappear like he was performing a magic trick to a kid. When Lee Seng didn't respond to it, he spun around and moved to the front door. "That's all from me. Breakfast starts soon. Get yourself acquainted with the other Debt Collectors around here. You might have to work with them." He started to exit when he turned around and pointed at Lee Seng.
"One more thing," Cain said. Lee Seng's ears perked up, naturally. It was a habit he had developed with the fox ears and even if he was technically "in his human form," he still did it. "Don't mind Lord Varjo. He may or may not try to do something about your… Light, but don't take it personally. His Debt Collectors will probably not like you because you're the opposite to them."

"Correct." Cain nodded. "Don't try to get onto his faction's bad side. I think you'll most likely have to help him out. He has a lot of work." With that, Cain stepped out of the room, closing the door behind him. Lee Seng sighed and looked around the room. It was too regal. Too rich.
"This place reminds me of a castle. I feel so out of place." Lee Seng whispered. He glanced at his watch. A holographic screen appeared and, thankfully, it told the time, date and even had a schedule of "upcoming events" for Lee Seng to see. "Breakfast is in thirty minutes. I should shower, I guess and look presentable." He looked at his plain t-shirt and short outfit. He lifted it up and sniffed it. "I just took a shower last night but… Eh."
Lee Seng took another shower and stepped out of the 'too technologically advanced' shower and dried himself off. He had made many mental notes about the bathroom and one of them was having an overhead showerhead and a side shower head. IT was convenient. He kept the towel wrapped around his waist as he made his way out of the bathroom and to the walk-in closet.
"I wish the closet and bathroom were closer, though…" Lee Seng whispered. He stepped inside the closet and closed the door. He dropped his towel and dressed himself in more casual outing clothes. "Woah. He even got the leather jacket I like." He grabbed it and put it over his neutral colored shirt that was tucked into his blue jeans. He grabbed some socks and the towel before walking out of the closet. He hung the towel onto the towel rod and slipped his socks on before wandering around the room.
"Where's the shoes?" Lee Seng mumbled to himself. He eventually found them in one of the dressers in the room. It was an assortment of shoes that all fit his taste. He grabbed some casual wear and slipped them on. "And it's basically time for breakfast." He glanced at his watch.
He stepped outside, closing the door. People were filing out of their rooms, going towards the same destination. Lee Seng followed the crowd and eventually found his way to the servants' lunchroom. People began to sit down and Lee Seng stepped around.
'Where do I sit?' Lee Seng thought. 'It looks like they all just kinda… Sit around.' He noticed a table with not a lot of people. He decided he'd just sit there. A woman with glasses and hair covering part of her face, sat at the end while a scrawny teenage boy sat at the other end.
"Can I sit here?" Lee Seng asked. The boy didn't respond. He just looked away as the girl nervously motioned at him to sit. He pulled a chair out and sat down. Lee Seng glanced at his watch as the teenage boy took a look at him. He noticed the necklace and watch and immediately grew interested.
"Those are some expensive items on you." The boy leaned forward.
"Oh the watch?" Lee Seng waved it in the air. The boy's eyes weren't glued onto the watch but the necklace. Lee Seng found it quite odd.
"The necklace." The boy pointed. He leaned in closer, fingers going for it.
"You shouldn't let him touch your things." The girl spoke. "He likes what he can't have." Lee Seng spun around and looked at the girl as the boy tried to snatch the necklace.
"Hmm? Why?" Lee Seng asked. The girl pushed her hair out of her face. She had burn scars on her face, but her eyes were the most interesting. They were alluring. They were red.
"W-well… He." She instantly became nervous and looked away from him.
"It's no use looking at her." The boy told him. "She gets nervous when guys look at her. Don't listen to her. I won't do anything bad. I just want to see your necklace."
"Alright, everyone!" A voice boomed out of thin air. Lee Seng whipped his head around and noticed a large floating woman in the middle of the room. She had two maid-looking women standing behind her. "Eat your fill and eat well! You're not being fed until at least lunch! If you're going out on business, take some food with you and HIDE IT WELL! We don't need the spirits to be fed and grow into a problem, alright!?!" She looked around as people half-heartedly said 'yes' or nodded. The large woman's eyes landed on Lee Seng and she took a moment to register who he was. She noticed the necklace and her eyes widened.
"AH! You!" The large woman pointed. She floated over, the maids following her. "Lord Cain has told me about you. I didn't expect someone of your status to come eat with the rest of the servants."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"He told me to eat here." Lee Seng told her.
"Oh?" The large woman's face was filled with shock. "I-If the Lord wishes it then I will abide by it." She looked at the table he was sitting at and immediately shook her head. "Why do you sit with such troublesome people? They don't even do their jobs well. You should sit with people who will benefit you much better than these disgraceful Debt Collectors." The teenage boy's jaw tensed like he was going to say something, but didn't. The girl nervously kept her head down.
"Since it's your first day, I should at least introduce myself." The large woman cleared her throat. "I am in charge of the Maids and cleaning servants. My name is Sophia Wiseman. I've been with Lord Cain since the beginning of his godhood and will follow him until the end." Sophia and the two maids bowed at him. "We should get you acquainted with the others. I will personally introduce to you some people of interest so you know who to look out for when you need help."
"T-thank you. I-If I have any questions I'll be sure to ask." Lee Seng gave a politeful bow.
"Please eat first, sir." Sophia motioned. Lee Seng turned and noticed a hot breakfast in front of him. The teenage boy and the burn scarred girl were eating. "It's all according to your taste so do not worry."
"Thank you, Sophia." Lee Seng bowed, again.
"We will talk later, sir Chang. Until then, enjoy your food." Sophia bowed. Lee Seng nodded and watched them float off. Lee Seng turned his attention to the hot food in front of him. Sausages, congee, and eggs. He had appreciated Crow's food and didn't tell her it was his comfort food.
"'Why do you sit with such troublesome people? They don't even do their jobs well.'" The boy mocked Sophia. "She doesn't understand a thing!" Lee Seng could hear his Australian accent coming out.
"What does she mean by that?" Lee Seng asked. The teenage boy began to say something when the scarred girl spoke up.
"We don't d-d-do our jobs correctly. That's all. Someone like you shouldn't sit with us. It'll t-t-tarnish your image." The girl told him.
"Tarnish?" Lee Seng mumbled. "What image?"
