The pseudo-demon screeched as it flew straight for Lee Seng. Lee Seng raised the watch up to his mouth as he jumped backwards.
"I have to go, Lord Cain." Lee Seng spoke. "I have a pseudo-demon to kill and teammates to get. I won't let you down."
"Don't disappoint me, Lee Seng Chang." Cain replied. "You have my reputation to uphold."
"I won't, sir. Goodbye." Lee Seng tapped the watch as the pseudo-demon slammed on the ground. Dust and debris fell as Lee Seng lifted his katana up. "Let's tussle, screamer. I got people to save and places to be." The large red demon let out a roar. The sound waves fired off at Lee Seng. Lee Seng threw up a shield, the sound waves exploding all around him as he flew backwards into the arena seats.
The red demon sprinted forward, taking large strides as it leapt. It wasn't giving Lee Seng anytime to respond. Lee Seng twirled the scabbard in his hands and dashed out of the cloud towards the pseudo-demon. Light wrapped around his katana and scabbard as the demon raised its fist, roaring. Lee Seng's katana and the demon's fist collided, creating a vortex of wind. The demon roared as it swung its other fist. Lee Seng raised the scabbard, blocking the attack as fire began to ignite.

The demon pushed away, releasing another guttural roar. Lee Seng flew backwards, the sound waves embedding himself into the arena seats. Lee Seng pushed himself out of the ruined seats as debris spilled all around him.
'Demons normally don't like holy light… They're the opposing force against the "holy" image so…' Lee Seng moved down from his spot in the arena seats. The pseudo-demon raised its knuckles to blow off steam, not really paying attention to Lee Seng.
"If I want to show them all I'm not the coward they think I am, I need to kill you first." Lee Seng pointed his katana at the demon. "And to do that… I need practice." A blast of pure light fired off from the tip of his katana. The pseudo-demon looked up, raising his arms to block as the scorching light burned him. The demon let out a cry of pain as its flesh burned away.
"Of course it's holy light. Lord Rox'su chose me himself. Why wouldn't it be holy light?" Lee Seng whispered. He let out a couple more blasts. The red demon was ready this time as it dodged the attacks. The light flew past the hole, showering the darkness with temporary light.
"Is that… What I think it is?" Lisa whispered. Her head began to feel dizzy. Her breaths quickened as she clutched her chest. "It's not… It's not at you… You're fine… You're fine…"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtLee Seng fired off beams of light at the demon as it dodged them. For a large creature, it was quick. The burns on its hands and arms slowly healed as it continued to dodge Lee Seng's barrage of attacks.
"It retained intelligence." Lee Seng noted. He brought the katana down to his side as he crouched. Two Echoes appeared. The three jumped in difference directions, in hopes of distracting the large pseudo-demon from knowing who was who. The demon let out roars at the closest Lee Seng to his right. The Lee Seng fizzled, allowing the other two to continue their run.
The demon turned to the middle Lee Seng and roared at it. This one dodged its attack and continued forward. The two Foxes were coming for him and he was running out of time. The demon sucked in a large breath of air and let out a belly roar. The sound sent everything flying in every direction. The middle Lee Seng began to fizzle as the real Lee Seng threw a shield up.
"Illusionary Step." Lee Seng switched places with the fizzling Echo, appearing close to the Demon as it raised the scabbard up. "Fox fires." Golden fiery wisps ignited all around Lee Seng and the Demon. "Now you have nowhere to run."
"RAAAA!" The demon roared. The sound waves fizzled out some Fox Fires. Lee Seng lifted his katana up, piercing a Fox Fire as it flew into the sword.
'I need to close the distance in an instance.' Lee Seng sprinted forward. 'Run faster than you've ever ran before! This isn't the fastest you can go! You can go faster!'
"Speed all the way up! Ethereal Dash!"
Lee Seng's body fizzled into nothing as a slash flew across the Demon's thigh. Lee Seng appeared for a milli-second, turning and dashing forward, again. Lee Seng carved the demon into large pieces as strike after strike continued on the demon. Lee Seng could feel actual energy pulling into his blade. This pseudo-demon had Energy to leech unlike everything else he had come across.
Lee Seng blinked back at his original spot, katana and scabbard raised as he let out tired breaths. Blood erupted out of the pseudo-demon, shattering the ground around him as it fell.
"AHHH!" The demon screamed. His eyes grew bloodshot red as sinister energy exploded out of it. Lee Seng threw his right arm up, covering his face as the sinister energy covered the area.
"W-what's that?!?" Lisa shook in fear. "Oh god no… Please…!" Her whimpers grew. She turned to David and began to shake him. "Wake up! Wake up! Help me…! He-he-he-help… m-m-m-m-me…" Her voice began to disappear as her skin grew deathly white.
"Lisa…" An ethereal voice whispered in her ear. "Let… me… in… Let me… save you…"
"No… N-n-n-n-o… You're… You're ju-just…"
"No… Lisa… I will help you… Let me in… You can save David… and be free…"
"No… Please no…!" Lisa cried.
"I can save us." The voice became more child-like. "We can make sure the bad guys never hurt us again. We promised ourselves that. We promised them that."
"B-b-b-b-but…" Lisa clutched her head.
"Lisa." The child appeared in front of her. It was the tiny version of her in a white dress. "Look at me. Look at us."
"No… Y-y-you're just a …."
"I'm not that demon you're scared of. I'm not that horrible man that killed our family. You remember that right?"
"Y-y-y-you're just a… A… A… You aren't real!" Lisa screamed. She pounded her head with her hands as her feet slammed on the bubble. Little Lisa stepped right up to her older self and stuck her hand out.
"Save them." Little Lisa pleaded. "Save them all before they die, Lisa! Save them all!"
"AHHHH!"
The burst of energy knocked Lee Seng off of his feet. The screams made him whip around like a leaf in the wind. He flew towards the stands and then straight towards the pit where Lisa and David were.
"AHHHHH!" Lisa's screamed reach him as the sound energy suddenly stopped him right above the hole.
[GET OUT.]

A familiar feeling grew below him. It reminded him of David.
"Shit." Lee Seng caught himself thirty feet in the hole. He could see the demon coming towards the edge as the bubble that held Lisa and David began to flicker. "This isn't good."
[E-e-e-e-error…! You cannot… D-d-d-d-detect wh-w-w-what — ???? New Entity ????]
'Why's it fizzling out right now? It's never done that.'
A guttural noise grew as the bubble ripped into pieces. Dirtied white cloths wrapped tightly around the spot Lisa and David were. They suspended in the air as a red beating heart glowed through the dirtied cloths. The sound of the heart grew louder as the demon growled.
"AHHH!" The demon screamed down into the void.
"Even it knows that's not good…" Lee Seng gulped. The cloths suddenly soaked in red and exploded outwards. Something zipped past him, dropping David in wrapped red cloth off to the side. The next thing Lee Seng knew, the demon had a large hole in its chest. It looked down like it hadn't even felt it as a woman appeared in mid-air between Lee Seng and the demon.
"Beats fast. Yes it does." Lisa sang. Lisa floated there with her head tilt off to the side like she "wasn't" there. She wore a tattered white dress and stared at the heart for awhile before continuing with her song. "Crush it. Yes it does." Her hands crushed the large heart. Blood splattered onto her dress, painting it red as she licked the blood off of her fingers.
"Hahaha!" Lisa giggled. "I see, I see, I see! This is what my Sin feels like!" The giggling creeped Lee Seng out. He didn't dare move from his spot, but Lisa's overwhelming presence had paralyzed him. The laughing continued as the life in the demon's eyes disappeared.
[Demon///// ????/?????//// ERROR!!! ERRROR !!! Get out!!!]
"Now that that's done…" Lisa slowly spun around. Lee Seng gulped.
'Move!' Lee Seng thought.
'Are you the bad man?" Lisa asked in a childish way. She tilted her head as she licked the blood off of her hands. "Are you the demon that killed my sisters?"
