Arnold shook hands with him, a hint of insincerity in his gesture. “Let's check on the progress of the design plans.” Arnold didn't quite understand, nodding with a smile. Lachlan was unaware of Arnold's past. He only knew that Arnold was then a prominent figure in Rivodia, and naturally, he had to treat Arnold well.
“The design blueprint for La Oriele was overseen by Keller Group's design director, Alice. With her involved, you can rest assured.” The two sat facing each other. There's nothing fishy going on.” Arnold, however, was relentless. “During her two years in Sumanthova, it seemed you were always flying there.” Hearing that, Lachlan was reminded of Dexter's instructions and could only shake his head. “It's all in the past.” Arnold only stayed for a few minutes. When he walked out of the office, he happened to see Josie waiting at the door. He then raised an eyebrow and asked, “Alice, you seem free. Are you not busy?” Lachlan looked surprised. “Alice, what are you doing here...” Josie glared fiercely at Arnold, then took his hand and started walking away. The latter didn't dodge, allowing her to lead him.

Are there any issues?” “You never even set foot in my office.” Josie knew exactly what he was thinking, and she felt helpless. “I can't obtain any more information at the moment. If | do it too frequently, Dexter will start suspecting me!” “Josie, one of my men has died in Southern Wavery,” Arnold stated bluntly.
Josie clenched her fists. “What do you mean?” “Why aren't you askinghow he died? You don't seem surprised at all.” Arnold watched her reaction leisurely. “You knew all along?” Josie raised an eyebrow, striving to keep her cool. “Don't go mad athere. I'm simply not interested in you as a person.” Arnold nodded, a sudden realization dawning on him. “You think of a solution. | need to see my father.” Josie was incredulous. “I implore you to understand that I'm not one of the higher-ups. I'm just a worker. Where would | get any authority?” Arnold confidently pulled out a transparent plastic bag filled with tablets from his pocket and placed it in front of her.
“You will have it.” Josie was trembling slightly. Those are Pop's medications...
Arnold moved closer to her, placing the pills in her hand. “A reward from last time.” “Once the matter is settled today, | gave you more medicine.”
