Chapter 872 Chapter 872 Mud Walls

"Since my problem with food has been solved already, it's about time that i start marking this land as mine." Our bored gamer decided.

It has been 3 days since he'd given his hunters their precious artifacts. The harvest that they bring every time they went out has more than quadrupled in quantity.

Thus, the little community he founded in this place could sustain itself without him meddling into their affairs.

"Chaos Clone Technique!" Clark intoned and a dark mass emerged from before him. It started as a puff of smoke before it materialized into something else entirely.

A man in blood red cultivator robes appeared. This man took the exact same face with our bored gamer and only his present attire differed from the original.

Clark could have changed this copy's figure and face at will but he had chosen to not alter it one bit since he planned to up his notoriety in this world after all.

The two twins looked at one another and nodded at the same time. It did not need telling that they were controlled by the same great mind of our very own protagonist.

"POOF!" The chaos ninja clone vanished and materialized a couple of kilometers away from the Hajime Clan.

Same as always, our avid gamer chose to start at the strongest influence he could reach. ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ ɪs ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ʙʏ Novᴇ(l)Fɪre.net

Fujima Clan. If anyone were to ask who was the strongest clan in the Land of Sugar then even a dead brained fool could easily point to the infamous Fujima Clan.

This family was a source of both awe and fear. To stay at the top, it would be almost impossible for one to remain soft.

Alas, the Fujima Clan had made sure to leave everyone behind especially in terms of violence and savagery.

This was the reason why this particular clan had stood tall amidst the myriad tribulations for more than a century and counting.

Unfortunately for them, their immense popularity and standing on this earth was also the reason our bored gamer picked their house over all the rest that was readily available for him.

"Ahhhh... This place isn't so bad at first glance." Clark in his chaos clone form muttered. Before him stood the walled defense of the mighty Fujima Clan.

It was about 20 meters tall of mud wall and this vast structure has encircled the entirety of the clan's domains.

From the outside looking in, one could see nothing but only the brown colored guise of earth and clay.

"I wonder if the people inside are as impressive as these proud gates." With these words, our avid gamer invited himself inside Fujima Clan.

The darkness of the night cloaked his form entirely and his wingless flight over the tall walls has made a perfect invasion for a start.

Clark was not of course stupid to just barge in and battle a population of thousands. That would have been too tedious and dangerous for the ninjas in this clan.

Since he had much use for them all, even a single piece of life taken would prove to be detrimental to his future plans.

This was the reason why our good gamer had a much subtler plan in mind.

"DING!"

"DING!"

"DING!" A half naked man practiced sword play even at this late hour of the night. It was obvious that he was serious about his craft.

With just one slash alone, he could create dozens of phantom blades that has made his technique extremely unpredictable for his foes.

This has gotten him the nickname of Demon Blade Mamoru. This was of course none other than the current Patriarch of the Fujima Clan.

"To have honed your body so well even at this advanced age is nothing short of genius. But i believe that genius could only take you so far.

I am happy to meet a man of perseverance and strength tonight." The words flowed behind Mamoru.

If this was any other man, there was no doubt that Mamoru would have easily attacked without exchanging any words whatsoever.

Alas, this short exchange has pinpointed exactly on how much gap existed between them.

'I could not even feel him arrive at my back. This person is dangerous!' Fujima Mamoru gulped. There was a rising fear in his heart but his exterior countenance never changed.

This was the mark of a true expert indeed.

"To what do i owe the honor of your visit... Senior?" Mamoru paused for a bit at the last word he had uttered. It had been a long long time when he said that particular word unto someone.

And in his 91 years of age, the people that were older than him in the clan could be counted with the fingers of one hand alone. Fujima Mamoru turned around ever slowly at this time.

A few deafening beats later, the old man saw a man in crimson robes.

The man's face was rather plain and although his garb looked kingly but it was the man's eyes that hooked Mamoru's attention completely.

They glinted with immeasurable intelligence and wisdom. For the first time in a long while, Fujima Mamoru felt inferior against someone.

Although this was only his natural instinct screaming at him at this time but he had not lived this long by being a dumb fool at all.

He absolutely trusted his first impression upon this unknown character in his abode.

"I have use for you and your clan, Fujima Mamoru. I want you to serve my cause." The nameless man said directly.

"That... is impossible! My clan is a slave to no one." Mamoru's fist sentence was a violent shout but he recovered well enough when he remembered of the danger that beset him tonight.

Thus, his second sentence was no more than a whisper in return. He was not at all confident that he could take this unknown Senior and live through its consequence.

"We have ourselves a disagreement then. No matter, we shall fix it in no time. Raise your sword at me, Demon Blade Mamoru." The nameless man challenged.

This nameless man was of course none other than our good gamer.
