A few days passed.
Aurora was very fortunate to receive a heart just in time. The donor had been in a car accident. With a healthy heart, she survived
the crisis.
During these days, Theodore stayed by Aurora's side, significantly reducing his twith Rosalie.
Rosalie often wanted to ask him about the biopsy results, but when she reached the ward and saw Theodore tenderly caring for
Aurora, she felt he already had someone to care for him. She thought there was no need for her to interfere.
Rosalie let out a soft sigh and turned to leave.
Theodore noticed her. He said a few words to Aurora before leaving the ward to catch up with her. "Rose."
Rosalie stopped in her tracks. She turned around and said, "I cto ask about your biopsy results. If you really don't want to tell
me, then et it. Anyway, you and Aurora are together now. If you have any issues, just talk to her. Goodbye."
"It's malignant," Theodore said to her retreating figure.

Rosalie turned back, staring at him in shock. "What did you say?"
Theodore took a few steps closer. "The tumor is malignant. | need to go through chemotherapy to shrink it before it can be
surgically removed."
Rosalie's fingers started trembling. She approached Theodore, her voice shaky. "Then... Can it be cured?"
"I've consulted the doctors. Chemotherapy is the first step," Theodore replied.
Rosalie's heart pounded violently. For a moment, she didn't know what to say. After a long silence, she finally managed toanize
her thoughts. "Will you return hfor treatment or stay in Melrine?"
"I'll stay in Melrine. Aurora hasn't recovered yet and can't take a flight."
"Theo, did the doctors mention the success rate?"
"They're uncertain. Right now, they can only try our best."
"Does Aurora know about this?"
"She doesn't. She just had surgery and can't handle the stress. That's why | hope you won't tell her."
"When do you start chemotherapy?"
"Tomorrow."
Rosalie sighed. "Do you needto apany you?"
"There's no need. You have your affairs to handle."
"But you'll be alone..."
"It's okay. | can manage. But if you really want to help me, could you..."
"Could I, what?" Rosalie asked.
"Could you joinfor a meal after each round of chemo?"

Rosalie nodded. "Yes."
"Alright, it's settled. I'll head back now." With that, Theodore returned to Aurora's ward.
Rosalie felt dizzy as she turned and walked away, her steps heavy.
Theodore's stomach had always been weak, and now it had worsened. She hoped he would pull through.
Rosalie arrived at Justin's room, only to find it empty. A nurse was tidying the bed.
A pang of anxiety hit her. She immediately stepped forward and asked, "Where is he?"
"He's been discharged," the nurse replied.
"Discharged? Who approved his discharge?"
"The patient signed the papers himself. Oh, he left a letter for you."
Rosalie took the letter and went to the doorway before opening it.
Rosalie clutched the letter tightly, tears dripping onto the paper. The ink smudged as her tears soaked into the letter.
