Now that | was back to my senses, | felt so embarrassed, | wondered how Axel would feel being woken up by the
weirdo who cries in her sleep.
“Oh gosh, I'm so sorry, where is Axel?”
“He went to call for a healer.”
“I'm fine!” | said, eyes wide. That would be very embarrassing if he did call the healer.
“I can see that now, and he would be back soon. You don’t need to be embarrassed about anything, not with us,”
he assures, and | nodded.
“What is that?” | asked, pointing at the envelope in his hands; it seemed very similar to the one the DNA result
was placed in. | had kept it right there on the... table. Oh. My. Gosh.
“I had a little suspicion,” he began. “I hadn't actually been sleeping.”
