because | was sure | hadn't said that out loud.

“Your health comes first, you just had a miscarriage. I'll have to wait till | get a clearance from the healers,” he
says, and had almost muttered the words ‘thank you’, but | held it in. Why would | thank him for ‘not’punishing
me?
Still, | couldn’t help the gratitude | felt towards him. | was sure Ryker wouldn't have done the
