Lenny made mental notes of the following:
Demons Darkline magic was weak against Devils Chaos magic.
Half-borns Darkline magic was strong against chaos magic, but if careless, could be corrupted.
Negative Magic was strong against Half-born Darkline magic.
From the looks of things, Lenny suspected that it might be weak against Demon Darkline magic.
The reason for this conjecture was simple.
If Witches were not scared of demons, then why sign the Pact that guarantees demon could not invade their territory?
Lenny was beginning to understand more and more about magic and it's different types.
A lot of it was still unknown, but most of it, he was starting to become sure of.
Regardless of the kind of magic, one thing was clear.
His magic seemed to be strongest.
The Giant Dog and Cow chased Crusher and Perseus.
However, Lenny was not so worried about them. Even with the Magic disadvantage, he was sure that they could handle themselves.
After all, these were fighters by nature.
They were not so weak.
And he was right.
The Dog chased after Crusher and the cow chased after Perseus.
These creatures, regardless of their size were very enduring.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWith a good leap, they had good distance towards their prey.
The cow advanced with incredible tenacity.
Its mouth opened on three sides, revealing it's carnivorous teeth.
"Shit! Aren't you suppose to eat mushrooms or something!?" He screamed as he ran.
*MOOOW!*
The cow responded to Perseus's vegetarian suggestion with a it's mouth leaning forward, in an attempt to fetch a tasty bite out of its prey.
"Hell No!" Perseus increased speed.
There was a tree just up ahead.
At this level of his cultivation, his speed wasany times that of an Olympic runner in the old world.
Such speed could even tweak the laws of physics to ones favor.
With a leap, he landed on the trunk of the tree.
His speed did not even reduce for a minute as his hands flared open with electricity sparks.
With a tumble, he somersaulted in the air.
This was done at the same time that the Cow was about to Mow down the tree.
*Boom!*
The tree was cleared out of the way like it was never there in the first place.
However, Perseus had already leaped high into the air.
His landing was perfect, right on the back of the Giant cow with his sword stabbing downwards.
*MOOW!* The Giant cow voiced out it's pain.
"Oh, don't flatter yourself. Only a while ago, you sat and watched your Dog girlfriend. Eat you out!" Perseus commented as he stabbed even deeper.
However, what happened next was like a small boat in a might stormy sea.
The cow raged as it flung around the place.
It even went around hitting trees and the like.
Perseus had no choice but to hold on for his dear life by the sword. Which of course, sank deeper into the beast's flesh.
It was getting hard to hold on, and with the chaos that the cow was causing, he was soon to fall off.
"Fucking stay in one place!" He screamed as he brought down his other hand filled with electricity on the beast.
*SHOCK!*
Electricity sparks rushed into the beast.
The Cow could no longer take it.
It made a swift break and flung Perseus off.
However it continued to go on a rampage.
On the other hand, the giant dog chased Crusher.
As Crusher ran, he suddenly pressed the brakes on his movement and swiftly turning around just when the beast was about to descend on him.
"Fuck off bitch!" He used the Hammer Lenny had gifted him for an impressive uppercut, right underneath the jaw.
*BOOM!*
This was a blow that resounded across the land.
The sound of the beast's jaws breaking could even be heard by Lenny that was a distance away.
Meanwhile, the gaint worm was rushing for Athena.
A little more and it would definitely eat her.
However, it could suddenly move forward no more.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHector had grabbed it by one end, digging his fingers into it's flesh, and leaning as far back as he could to hold it back.
This move of his was only temporarily, as the worm continued to lean forward, just a bit of five meters and its meal would be set.
Hector held true.
He held on as tight as he could.
However, his strength was slipping.
Even as a rank 1 lesser Demon, there was only so much he could do.
Nevertheless, he was not going to give up. He couldn't.
His feet dug into the ground even deeper.
This earth was not the type that helped with good grip.
However, that was not going to be an excuse that would hold him back.
Then again, he could feel it. It was subtle, and it was in inches. However, he could still feel it.
Little, little, he was losing grip on the on the giant worm.
His fingers were getting tired and the adrenaline pump he had in the beginning had long gone.
It was currently his fear of what would happen to her if he let go that was pushing him to give his best.
But it was not enough, and it seemed as if the giant worm was aware of this.
It did not try to stop Hector or even wiggle it's bodfy and loosen his grip.
No!
This was pure challenge of tenacity.
It was an unspoken contest of who was stronger and the fainted Athena the goal.
To either become dinner or fall in her lover's hands.
At this moment, Hector wished for more strength. No! He wished for help.
Yes, he needed help. He needed help to save his lover, but where could he get it.
He did not even need to turn about to know that the others had their hands full, and even if, he did not want to bother them.
No! It was not that he didn't want to, his pride would not let him...
