"These Paragon Magical Beasts. You see them as easy targets, but do you even know their stature? If their main bodies were to be alive in this day and age, not even I would hold a candle to them."
The Celestial Transcendent uttered, his voice solemn, "I understand that they are after your life, but if you happen to anger them, you are only worsening the inevitable."
"Ahahaha!"
Davis burst out laughing, appearing like he had heard something funny while blood still spurted out of his mouth in intervals, making him look rather miserable.
However, he suddenly stopped laughing, smiling at the Celestial Transcendent.
"Provoking them was not a mistake. If I didn't provoke them last time, then I wouldn't be alive today. If I can live, I'll provoke them again."
"I didn't mean that. I meant if you hadn't provoked them, then they'll abide by the rules and attack you three by three or four by four depending on some vague rules I'm not sure of. But since you provoked them last time, insulting their stature, then they won't bother to respect those rules."
*Whoosh!~*
Davis dodged the kirin's lightning strike that gave him the chills as he felt nothing would've been left of his body if he had taken it. The moment he dodged right, the scarlet phoenix flames fell, appearing to encase him in a world of purgatory.
However, his silhouette could be seen far off in the distance.

The Celestial Transcendent uttered, turning into a gust of wind that chased Davis to the ends of the First Haven World. The Paragon Magical Beasts also chased him, and no matter where Davis flew, the center of the heavenly storm was always above him, changing shapes as they swirled like a maze rearranging themselves.
Davis clenched his teeth, hurriedly healing himself. Although remnant karmic energy was haunting one of his organs, he was able to clear them through the usage of reincarnation energy before healing it with life energy. The only thing it cost him was time, but what he was lacking was time!
Therefore, he tried to gain as much distance as possible but-
*Roar!~*
It wasn't even three seconds before a tiger leaped at him from behind, its jade-crimson body glowing with the power of yang as it threw its arms at him, its claws radiating a golden glow as it struck his back. However, the claws passed through him, and his afterimage faded.
The tiger instantly pounced towards the left, chasing Davis's figure that strode the wind like a roc.
However, the Paragon Magical Beasts were still on his tail, nearing him every second as they closed the distance.
'Damn it…! My comprehension of annihilative heavenly wind is not enough. I must revert to using heavenly wind or find myself battering my body, even if before they finish me off…!'
Davis felt the mindboggling urge to turn back and attack, but he knew the moment he did that, the Celestial Transcendent would be on his tail. That said, if he stopped using the annihilative heavenly wind that he had gained a bit of comprehension while refining them, he knew he would not be able to keep up his speed with these annihilative heavenly wind manifestations.
They were just too fast for him!
If it weren't for Fiora, who went through her Destructive Immortal Tribulation and improved her comprehension of heavenly wind by leaps and bounds along with Zephya, he wouldn't have been able to comprehend a thing about annihilative heavenly wind at this moment.
That gave him the edge, but even that was nullified by the presence of the Celestial Transcendent, who was faster than him, stronger than him, and possessed an eye that saw through weaknesses like it was child's play.
*Ripp!~*
A space-ripping slash came from the side, trying to cut him into two pieces.
However, Davis dodged again, fueling his feet with heavenly flames and condensing them into pressurized flames before bursting with speed, further distancing himself from his opponents.
When he looked to the side, he saw that it was the rat clad in a spatial haze, its speed and might resounding alarm bells in him.
*Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~*
Once it caught up, it made a mess of him, throwing a lot of spatial attacks at him without stopping.
Space distorted, trying to shorten the distance he traversed while spatial blades cracked through the air, revealing the many layers of space as it made its way toward him.
However, Davis kept dodging forcibly multiple times, even when the cracks were about to rip through him apart.
Only the explosive speed of the heavenly flames was able to give him an edge from getting caught and bombarded.

Heavenly flames exploded out of his body, and heavenly lightning filled the world, forming a minute layer of defense that allowed him to escape once again before the others could surround him.
'If I don't come up with a plan soon… then I'll run out of energy, but if I take care of the Celestial Transcendent first, I might become vulnerable to the attack of Paragon Magical Beasts...'
Davis's eyes were strangely calm as he thought about the best way to cross his tribulation.
Facing them head-on, he knew there was less than a ten percent chance of him surviving.
The slowest out of them all seemed to be the Ox and the Fox that had yet to catch up with him, but on the other hand, the Rabbit only seemed to jump around, never nearing him but not gaining much distance from him either as though it was planning something.
It gave him a headache just to think what kind of attacks they would throw at him.
Regardless, he abruptly turned around and summoned two Spears of Damnation, grasping them in his hands that seemed to have already healed back to health.
"Come. I'm at least taking two of you out before I get injured again."
"Injured? You might not survive the next storm of attacks."
Came the Celestial Transcendent's voice as he rushed towards Davis and pulled back his fist as he held the silver sword, appearing ready to unleash a sky-carving slash again.
Davis also shot towards the Celestial Transcendent, his body bending to his waist level while folding his hands back towards his shoulders, keeping the Spears of Damnation ready to be unleashed.
