Chapter 225 The man, clad in a simple button-down shirt tucked neatly into his slacks, exuded an air of casual elegance. Even in such a setting, he stood out, his demeanor effortlessly superior. Natalia's gaze momentarily lingered on him before she intended to look away.
But the man suddenly looked her way.
Caught off guard, Natalia found herself locked in his gaze.
She awkwardly diverted her eyes.
Hamilton caught her reaction and a smile unwittingly danced on his lips. He glanced at Natalia, then his gaze shifted to Ronin standing beside her.
The smile remained, but a chill crept into his eyes.
He approached Natalia in a few strides.
"Congratulations, Ms. Jenkins." Natalia nodded uneasily.
"Thank you." Hamilton chuckled. "Ms. Jenkins, why did you try to avoidjust now?" Natalia felt a bit guilty under his questioning.
Ronin muttered under his breath, "Because you're not exactly a catch." Hamilton gave him a cold look, then turned to Natalia, lowering his voice, "Natalia, I've acquired the NorthSuburb property." Natalia was taken aback.
She looked at Hamilton in shock; the property was crucial to her, but it didn't seem like something Hamilton needed.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhat was he up to? Hamilton smiled. "If Ms. Jenkins is willing, I'd like to offer it as a gift for today." Natalia's fingers tightened.
She smiled at Hamilton, "Mr. Fowler, I can't accept such a valuable gift." Hamilton's gaze deepened. "Then which property do you desire? I've acquired a few others you were interested in. Which one would you like?" Natalia was stunned, turning to look at Ronin, who was equally perplexed.
Those properties, which he had been eyeing, how did they suddenly end up with this guy? "Hamilton, are you joking?" Hamilton laughed. "Does Mr. Joyner takefor someone who jokes about such matters?" Ronin, visibly infuriated, clenched his teeth. "Hamilton! Must you stoop so low?" Hamilton leisurely sipped his drink. "Mr. Joyner, any objections? Feel free to buy them all if you wish. We can negotiate a price." Ronin was seething, "Hamilton, you think I won't dare?" Hamilton's attention, however, remained on Natalia.
"I just wanted to give you a gift, Natalia. Congratulations on making it this far." Even though he wasn't thrilled to see her becoming so sought after-the brighter she shone, the more admirers she attracted he still wanted her happiness. Natalia clenched her fists.
"Hamilton, I really can't accept this gift." With that, she turned to mingle with other guests, her mind in turmoil.
Even her interactions at the party were distracted.
Ronin caught her expression.
"Natalia, you're not seriously swayed by that piece of land, are you? Whatever you want, I can buy those properties too." Natalia glanced at Ronin.
"Ronin, stop causing trouble. President Joyner sent you here to do business, not to squander money." Ronin was fuming.
"So, you're really going to accept it?" Natalia, preoccupied with the guests, finally replied, "Accepting it or not is my own business." Realizing her stance, Ronin almost exploded with frustration.
As the opening dance music began, Hamilton approached.
Ronin pulled Natalia onto the dance floor.
Hamilton paused, his expression cooling.
"Looks like Mr. Fowler has quite the competition," Greysen remarked casually. "So, the gift wasn't accepted?" Hamilton gave him a cold chuckle without responding, placing his drink on a passing tray before stepping onto the dance floor.
As the hosts, it was only natural for Natalia and Ronin to lead the opening dance, their attractive appearances drawing many eyes.
Yet, there was someone even more captivating making his way towards them.
As Natalia spun, Hamilton extended his arm, drawing her into his embrace.
Natalia was taken aback by the sudden change, then she heard Hamilton's teasing voice.
"What's the fun in dancing with a kid?" Natalia, annoyed, pinched his arm hard.
"Hamilton, can't you stop causing trouble?" Hamilton's gaze softened, his smile lingering.
"Natalia, I just wanted to make you happy." She tightened her grip on his hand, a silent moment passing before she spoke, "You don't have to do this." Hamilton nodded, "Indeed, it's my choice how I act." Natalia looked up at him, after a pause, she finally spoke, "Hamilton, this involves Ron Group's business, not justpersonally. You don't have to go this far." Hamilton's gaze was tender. "So, you're considering my interests?" Caught off guard, Natalia hesitated.
Hamilton leaned closer, his voice a whisper.
"Natalia, whether you sell the gift to Ron Group or keep it for yourself, as long as you're happy, that's all that matters to me." His breath was warm against her ear.
Natalia quickly stepped back.

Natalia didn't give it much thought and just gulped it down.
Hamilton watched her slightly panicked retreat with a flicker of amusement in his eyes.
Ronin glared at Hamilton, his eyes practically shooting flames.
"Mr. Fowler sure knows how to play the generous host, giving away land worth billions just like that,"
Hamilton tilted his head back, gaze downing a glass of bourbon, his ga never straying from Natalia. "Ronin, if you felt like giving, no one would stop you." "You really think I wouldn't dare?" Hamilton's look turned icy, "All talk and no game, you're not even in my league." Ronin was so furious he nearly swung at Hamilton right then and there.
He let out a mocking laugh.
"Hamilton, don't think you can woo Natalia with your petty cash!" Hamilton ignored him, making his way over to Natalia.
"There's a classic rock concert tomorrow, wanna go check it out?" Natalia avoided his gaze.
"I've got a meeting."
Hamilton chuckled, "I booked the entire venue, so whenever yo@get off de so e work, just head over." Natalia glared at him, "Hamilton, I really don't have time." "I'll wait for you, and if you don't show, I'm not leaving." "Hamilton!" Natalia was so exasperated her face turned beet red.
Hamilton just laughed and turned to mingle with the other guests.
Natalia watched his retreating back and let out a sigh, heading towards the restroom.
