Chapter 65
The crowd's attention shifted to the display. The design seemed a bit over the top, perhaps in an effort to
highlight the large ruby nestled at the floral center.
The necklace and earrings had possessed a natural synergy that the ring lacked.
Bridget's face went through a quick succession of changes, her grip on the microphone tightening as she
struggled to maintain the poise and grace she was known for. "Thank you for your feedback. I'll keep up the
work."
Eloise seemed quite pleased with Bridget's response, paying her more attention.
"Ms. Simpson, your current designs have far exceeded my expectations for this competition. I'm curious, is there
anyone here whose work you particularly look forward to competing against?"
This question sparked interest among the crowd, offering a much-needed break from the monotony of sequential
presentations.
After a moment's thought, Bridget smiled and said, "Actually...there's a classmate of mine here who also has
taken part in this competition, I've always admired her works. | wouldn't dare say I'm up for a direct competition,
but | do wish more people could see her work." To the onlookers, Bridget had already won the day with her
modesty, her willingness to help others, as well as her elegance and charm.

sending the host a signal at the stime.
The host then announced, "Let's invite Sylvia to stage then."
Shortly after his voice trailed off, there was no response. The host, thinking Sylvia might not have heard, called
out again with his voice raised up, "Sylvia, it's your turn."
Silence followed.
Bridget, her eyes sparkling with anticipation, looked hurt, "Maybe she doesn't want to compete with me. After all,
she has always been top among the classes. Perhaps | was being presumptuous."
The crowd erupted in whispers and murmurs.
"Bridget's already shown her respect and yet she brushed it off. What's this pretence for?"
"Ms. Simpson is trying to help her, what an idiot."
"All this talk of being top, what a show-off!"
Frowning, Eloise always despised those who was arrogance despite their lack of skills. She cast a glance at the
host, signaling him to declare Sylvia's forfeiture.
The host had to claim, "Then we have to..."
"Sorry for the delay. | wasn't scheduled to appear yet, so | thought | had tfor a quick bathroom break.
Imagine my surprise hearing my name."
With a clear voice, a figure in a flowing lilac gown made a graceful entrance. The dress trailed behind her like
light ripples on water, highlighting her elegant form. Her long hair cascaded down her fair shoulders, shimmering
with each step. And her face, even with minimal makeup, was stunningly beautiful, taking everyone's breath
away.
As she approached Bridget, it was clear who held the room's attention now. Bridget was shocked to see Sylvia
stand unharmed.
