Chapter 830 - Trap (2)
With her twin brother's surgery successful, one less problem had been settled for Tang Moyu. When she returned home from the hospital, she found her twins sprawled on the floor inside the family area with Hunter curled next to Xiao Bao. The moment they saw her, the two immediately got back on their feet and ran towards her in glee.
"Mommy, are you and baby tired? Do you want something to drink?" Little Star, who was now reaching Tang Moyu's section, hugged her gently as if she was afraid to hurt the baby.
"Thank you, darling but Mommy is fine." Tang Moyu led her children and took a seat on the couch with them. Little Star laid her small head on Tang Moyu's l.a.p and kissed her small bump that was barely noticeable at this point.
"Hi, Baby. Did you behave today? You shouldn't make Mommy too sick, okay?" the little girl said sternly, which made Tang Moyu laugh at her daughter's antics. Hadn't Little Star been the one who was against having a baby sibling?

How could they not know the recent changes with their mommy? She was throwing up on some days and couldn't keep anything she ate as if she was sick. Fortunately, their daddy assured them that it was only temporary as their mommy's body was still adjusting for the baby in her tummy.
"But Auntie Mei said babies can hear voices early." Little Star pouted, refusing to believe that their sibling couldn't understand what she was saying. How could that be? When Leyan was still inside their Auntie Meili's tummy, Little Star also talked to her and the baby came out just fine.
"Now, now, don't start another argument," Tang Moyu interceded before her twins started another fight again.
"Mommy, is Uncle Jiren okay now? Can we visit him?" Xiao Bao asked. When their parents went away early in the morning yesterday in a hurry, Xiao Bao knew something had happened. It was only after the news they saw on the television last night did they know that their Uncle Jiren had been rushed to the hospital.
"Not now, darling. Your Uncle Jiren is still in the ICU. Let's wait for him to move into the private ward and we can see him." Tang Moyu wanted to bring them with her but she needed to make sure that her brother would be in good condition so her children wouldn't worry too much.
As she waited for Feng Tianyi's return, Tang Moyu helped her children with their homework. As she checked Xiao Bao's notebooks, she was impressed by how detailed his answers were. Even his notes were neatly written— too grand for his young age.
Meanwhile, Little Star's scribbles were also readable but her strokes weren't as neat as her twin brother's. There were questions that she left unanswered so Tang Moyu had to review their lessons and taught her daughter herself.
This was the scene that greeted Feng Tianyi. The fatigue he felt from work, easily forgotten as he watched his small family. Who would have thought he would have such an amazing family like this? Years ago, he was so sure that he didn't deserve to have a future like this.
"Until when do you plan to stand there?" Tang Moyu raised a brow at him while their twins looked at him curiously.
"What do you have there?" He dropped his coat and joined them on the floor. historical
"Mommy is helping us with homework." Little Star lifted the big crayon in her hand, the sheets with her doodles scattered on the floor.
"But are you done?" Feng Tianyi asked, picking up one of her latest works thinking if he should make a scrapbook to preserve them. Perhaps in the future, they would look back and smile while looking at it.
"En! Mommy is really good at math!" Little Star bragged.

Once the twins finished and were taken by their nursemaids to have a bath, Feng Tianyi took his wife's hands, taking her to the study room to have the privacy they needed.
"Moyu, I have something to tell you," he said nervously.
"You are worried," Tang Moyu pointed out.
"I am and it's not easy for me." He sighed before gesturing for her to take a seat before taking the old videotape from the top drawer of his desk.
Tang Moyu eyed him but didn't question him. She saw him turn on the television in the study and played the videotape.
"You have to see this, Moyu," Feng Tianyi said, watching her expression intently.
The video played on the screen, showing two young men laughing at the camera. The one holding and recording the video laughed along with them. They were wearing thick coats, their breaths fogging on their faces as the cold weather bit them.
By the quality of the video, Tang Moyu could tell that it was old. But why did Feng Tianyi show her this? What did she need to see here?
Her question had been answered as the scene on the screen changed. A woman begged on her knees, as she held tight the baby in her arms. Tang Moyu shivered hard as the familiarity hit her. She couldn't be wronged. The woman in the video was none other than Yan Qiuyu, her birth mother.
The person recording was sobbing as he fell on his b.u.t.t, holding her recorder with trembling hands. Tang Moyu couldn't hear anything and had no idea what her mother was saying, but the tears streaming down her face was enough to tell the empress that she was in distress.
Just as Tang Moyu thought she'd seen enough, her blood froze on her veins as another man she knew all her life appeared on the video.
