After getting off the car, she walked towards the villa while calling Madeline.
“Madeline, did you go out to play?”
“No, the agent arranged an event for me at the last minute, and I’m already on my way back.”

After hanging up the phone, Maxim called Rayan.
“Cancel the dinner with Christopher tomorrow night.”
“Mr. Yoder, Christopher was to return to his country the day after tomorrow morn ing. If you didn’t meet him tomorrow night, there would be no chance to collaborate w ith Christopher.”
Maxim said indifferently, “Book a fiight for the day after tomorrow morning on t he same plane as Christopher, I’ll talk to him on the plane.”
Rayan was somewhat surprised, “Mr. Yoder, do you have anything important to d o tomorrow night?”
“Mm–hmm.”
After notifying Rayan, Maxim hung up the phone.
