Davis glanced over at Nathan, hoping for sbackup, but Nathan just shrugged him off, clearly not interested
in getting involved. With no other option, Davis took a deep breath and tried again, "Miss Luna, that's not what
we meant. Please don't... twist my words." Ethan arched an eyebrow, amusement glinting in her eyes, "Oh, so
now you're saying I'm just making a fuss about nothing?" Davis felt like he was going to cry; that wasn't his
intention at all!
"If that's what you think, then letgive you a real scene to talk about." Ethan strode over to the hospital bed
and eyed Jenna up and down, "So, you're Jenna? Wrapped up like a mummy and still causing trouble. Do you
need to be completely breathless before you'll behave?" She clicked her tongue, "With that sorry look, even
ghosts would shake their heads at you. And you thought you could mess with my friend Flora? Do you really
think you're up to it?"
Jenna shook with fury. How could Ethan talk to her like that?
