Tim was seriously pissed off.
Jared and Ryder, his two pride and joy.

Engagement? Who gave you the permission?”
Tim fmally took aim at Agnes, “You’ve got a wicked mind. Are you out for revenge against the Whitfields? You want
to see them at each other’s throats? Is this your game? You’re trying to tear our family apart. You’re cold–hearted!”
Seeing how pissed off Tim was, Agnes felt a lump in her throat.
But she could understand how Tim was feeling at the moment.
Half of Tim’s life was spent on the battlefield, the other half in the business world.
He had seen all kinds of hypocrisy and deception.
Many things were just a coincidence, like Jared finding Nocturne, and Ryder showing up now.
These were all things Agnes hadn’t predicted.
But people would definitely think she had ulterior motives.
It made sense Tim thought she was doing it on purpose.
But let the misunderstanding be.
Agnes didn’t want to explain, she even felt it was better if Tim thought that way.
Agnes yanked her hands free from Jared and Ryder.

Turning to Jared, Agnes sneered, “Jared, if I really marry Ryder, should I call you uncle or big brother?”
Jared’s face was as dark, his gaze was as sharp as a dagger, as if he was ready to kill.
This also pissed Tim off big time.
He pointed at Agnes, his finger trembling, “Don’t even dream about marrying into the Whitfields.”
Alyssa hurried over to hold Tim steady and help him take his medicine.
Then she looked up at the people in front of her, her voice icy, “Tim just had heart surgery. Do you really want to
piss him off? Everyone out. We’ll sort out this mess later.”
Tim was panting heavily with his eyes half–closed.
Clearly, he was royally pissed.
Agnes felt bad, because this wasn’t what she wanted.
But what she had to do was to make Alyssa and Tim utterly sick of her.
This way, her chances of escaping would be a bit higher.
