“Are you okay with it, Evander? If you don’t like the arrangement, I’ll just select another candidate,” asked Angeline

nervously. She did not want to get into a conflict with Evander over this matter.

“Are you hoping that I’m not okay with it?” asked Evander as he looked at her in the mirror, then started to brush

his teeth.

Angeline took in his form from the back. His firm chest was exposed under the sagging sleeping robe. At that

moment, his short black hair was unstyled and relaxed. He had a tall and lean figure supported by a well-

proportioned frame.

On top of that, Evander had long lashes that were lush and naturally curled. His lashes were even prettier than that

of a girl’s. Yet, such a striking feature was bestowed upon him, a man, instead.

Angeline’s gaze slowly became unfocused as she stared at him. However, it was only for a short moment, and she

regained her senses.

“Of course not. But you’re my boyfriend now. I have to take your feelings into consideration too,” answered

Angeline.

Although Forrester Group was important, how Evander felt mattered a lot to her too now that she was sure of her

feelings for him.

Upon hearing what she said, Evander suddenly put down the toothbrush he was holding and turned to face her.

Puzzled, Angeline looked at him. “What is it?”

The moment she finished that sentence, Evander walked over to her and held her in his arms, lowering his head

and kissing her.

The toothpaste foam on his lips was transferred to Angeline’s lips as he kissed her passionately several times.

“Coax me.” He uttered those two words in a low tone, but it sounded more like a command.

Angeline stood rooted to the spot. Confusion could be seen in her eyes, as she did not understand what he meant.

The next moment, Evander lifted her hand with an impish smirk on his lips and placed it on a certain part of his

body.

Angeline was stunned for a second. Then she blushed as red as a tomato, subconsciously licking the white foam on

her lips. It was sweet with a slight taste of peppermint.

“Why don’t we move over to the bed?” suggested Angeline softly.

As Evander took in Angeline’s seductive look, his gaze became focused and deep. It was overflowing with loving

gentleness.

All of a sudden, he let go of Angeline and put some distance between them with a smirk on his face.

“It’s unbecoming for a lady to say such a thing.”

Angeline was speechless.

For some reason, she felt a flash of anger arise in her heart. It was Evander who had started it first.

Perhaps it was also because she felt disappointed that things did not progress in the direction that she hoped they

would.

She got down from the sink and proceeded to walk away. However, Evander suddenly lifted her face to his and

started kissing her.

“Mmph!”

Before Angeline could say anything, her lips were sealed shut by Evander’s fervent kiss.

He lifted one of her legs and pressed his body forward, leaving her with no room to escape.

A very peculiar feeling enveloped Angeline. It was as if someone had set fire to her entire body, unleashing all the

emotions that she had held deep in her heart.

Angeline could not help but give in to Evander. Waves after waves of passion rippled within her body.

When they were done with their intense session of intimacy, it was already afternoon. As Angeline washed herself

up in the bathroom, she was quite embarrassed to see the countless red spots strewn all over her back.

My goodness, Evander. I didn’t expect you to be such a beast!

The both of them had a meal at the restaurant on the first floor. After Evander bought Angeline’s air ticket, he left

the hotel.

He had a dinner appointment that night, so he could not personally see Angeline off. She did not mind and

proceeded to board the plane alone.

Angeline had purposely come over to tell Evander about her decision. She did not make any other plans, so she did

not think it was a shame that he could not be there to send her off.

After Angeline disembarked the plane, she did not bother to take her luggage home first and went straight to

Forrester Group to work.

Now that she had secured the investor and confirmed the live streamer, she just needed to get everything in order.

The crew finally got all the equipment set up after a couple of hours under Angeline’s supervision and instructions.

Following that, she notified Jacob that he needed to start live streaming at seven in the evening and that he would

be promoting beauty devices.

Jacob was very popular at the moment, so he had the support of many fans. The moment he shared on Twitter that

he would be live streaming later, there was a huge reaction on the internet.

Some fans were in favor of his live streaming, as they were overjoyed that they could interact live with their

favorite idol online.

On the other hand, some of them accused Forrester Group of profiting off Jacob and downgrading him.

That did not come as a surprise, as some fan groups were fanatical and regarded their idols as their imaginary

other half. They felt they had the right to decide what their idols should and should not do.

Although Angeline understood this was bound to happen, she still felt a little troubled when she saw the criticisms. It

was mainly because she felt guilty about dragging Jacob into this.

I did not consider Jacob’s feelings at all. Have I inadvertently coerced him into doing this?

Given Jacob’s current level of popularity, he could easily earn more money by attending some fashion show instead

of going on a live stream.

While Angeline struggled with her mixed emotions and concerns, the same could not be said for Jacob, as he did

not worry too much. When he reached Forrester Group in the evening, the female staff who were on duty started

crowding around him.

“Mr. Zane, can we have your autograph, please?” they asked uneasily while swooning over him.

He nodded in their direction and said with a laugh, “Of course. Get me a pen.”

The female staff went crazy at his reply and started shrieking their heads off from sheer excitement.

“Oh, wow! You’re the best! We love you!”

“Mr. Zane, when will you be releasing the full version of your single? The sample was so good that I can’t wait for

more!”

“This is too good to be true! I was just biding my time before the company closed down. I can’t believe Ms. Sorelle

managed to invite a superstar right after she took over!”

Jacob, who had been signing autographs and patiently answering questions, smiled upon hearing Angeline’s name

being mentioned.

“Angie has always been serious and professional about her work. Rest assured that the company won’t go bankrupt

with her around.”

“Yes, we all believe in Ms. Sorelle.”

After Jacob was done giving his autograph, he signaled to his assistant who was standing behind him. The latter

brought over a bag and gave each of the female staff a tube of lipstick from a well-known international brand.

“Please take these. These are the products that I’m recently endorsing. I hope you will show your support for

Angie’s work.”

His pearly white teeth glimmered as he smiled amiably. He was so handsome that not a fault could be found in any

of his striking features.

The lipsticks that he gave out were in the shade that was the most popular at the moment. Each one of them cost

around three hundred, yet he gave them away generously.

Once again, high-pitched shrieks of excitement filled the air.

“Why is everyone so excited?”

Angeline descended the stairs and walked toward the crowd. She was wearing an all-white suit. A face mask

concealed half of her face, but her doe eyes were as enchanting as ever.

“Ms. Sorelle.”
