I Am A Notorious Hidden Boss In The Alternate World
Chapter 253 - Training FenririDespite a few people approaching Albion to ask him whether he wanted to hire their services to have his stone cut or not, he rejected them all.
By the time they were far from the stone gambling area, Fenriri's curiosity did not dwindle.
"What's so special about this rock, Master?" Fenriri asked.
"This?" Albion raised the stone he bought before he smiled and said, "This is a called a Void Stone, a key material for forging interspatial artifacts like this ring of mine."
After Fenriri heard that, her eyes beamed with enlightenment.
"Is that how Master can pull things out from thin air?"
"Yeah, they are all stored inside this ring," Albion nodded and said, "Don't let its small appearance fool you. There's a very big space inside."
"How big, exactly?"
"I guess not that big, actually. Only about the size of a mansion," Albion answered her query before saying, "As long as there is enough Void Stones, it is possible to increase the interspatial storage space indefinitely."
"Even to the point of being comparable to an entire world?" Fenriri became even more intrigued, not expecting such an unassuming stone could contain such possibilities.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"It can even reach the size of the universe itself," Albion smiled confidently before he added, "But of course, as I said earlier, the prerequisite is there is enough Void Stones for it."
"However, the world does not have so many Void Stones. At least, with our current abilities, we have no way of exploring the vast cosmos to find out," Albion shortly shook his head with a wry smile.
"What are Void Stones, exactly? How can they be so magical, Master?"
"No one really knows, actually. Void Stones are one of the earliest minerals found by men and may have existed since the beginning of time when the universe was formed," Albion answered with a slight smile.
Not even the Dark Emperor had a definite answer for the Void Stone's origin.
"However, I do have a theory," Albion suddenly added before asking, "Do you want to hear it?"
"Yeah!" Fenriri answered eagerly.
"Alright then. But first, do you understand the process of mixing flour and water?"
"No!" Fenriri shook her head before asking curiously, "What is flour?"
"Oh, they are just white powder produced by grinding raw grains and the like, but that's not important," Albion stated before he proceeded to explain.
"When you pour flour into a bowl of water too quickly, or the water is not warm enough, the flour doesn't mix well and forms lumps of flour. I believe the Void Stones are like these lumps of flours."
"It is said that everything was birthed from nothing with a big bang at the beginning of time. Light, energy, rocks, all matter came into being with a big bang—even space itself."
"But because everything happened too quickly, space was entirely formed during the formation of the universe and produced these rocks we call Void Stones, which contain the power of space within."
"If I want to go one step further, I can even say that the universe is expanding as a result of Void Stones getting suck into black holes and ground down, thereby releasing the power of space contained within them."
"After all, it does not make much sense why the universe continuously expands when these super black holes, which can be found at the center of every supercluster of stars, are keeping them in place."
As Albion explained, Fenriri became dumbfounded, lost in his explanation by the number of unfamiliar terms of science that cropped up.
Looking back at her confused expression, Albion shortly waved his hand and said nonchalantly, "Well, you don't need to understand it. Just take it as another one of my nonsensical talks."
"Oh… Fenriri understands, Master," Fenriri nodded obediently.
Sometime later, for the sake of his hair, Albion and Fenriri left the city through the proper exit before they headed into the thick blizzard and snow.
"Master, are we going to continuing our exploration?" Fenriri shortly asked after entering a much colder region of snowy mountains, causing her to reach the limits of her tolerance to the cold.
"Of course!" Albion answered straightforwardly before he suddenly frowned.
"However, there are still some unresolved matters back on Earth, and some issues might crop up if we are away for too long. I suppose we should head back after we are done checking out this region. While we're at it, I'll train you."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Yes, Master!" Fenriri's eye brightened at once.
Being trained by an Aura God will definitely allow her to make progress in her cultivation by leaps and bounds—or so she thought.
"This spot will do," Albion nodded after finding a mountain cave before he ordered, "Show me how you normally cultivate."
"Yes, Master!"
Fenriri immediately placed her leather bag down along the cave walls before she sat down in a meditative position and began inhaling in the cold air through a unique and rhythmic set of breathing patterns.
Albion silently nodded as he observed her breathing technique.
On Earth, the scarceness of spiritual energy forces cultivators to train their bodies and build a strong foundation before they could officially begin to even absorb the faint spiritual energy in the atmosphere to further their training.
However, the Netherfrost Blizzard Realm had a much higher density of spiritual energy, allowing all creatures to have an easier time absorbing the abundant spiritual energy.
"Alright, that's enough."
"Err, did Fenriri do something wrong, Master?" Fenriri quickly asked with surprise and doubt after being suddenly stopped by her master.
However, Albion shook his head and said, "No, I have seen enough of your breathing technique. While it is alright, it is still far too slow. With this kind of speed, you will never reach Spirit Manifestation within a hundred years."
"You are not making full use of your body's potential. Don't just breathe in with your mouth and nose. Use all your pores as well," Albion instructed.
Fenriri was immediately taken aback before asking, "How does Fenriri do that? No, is that even possible, Master?"
"Hm, I suppose not if all your pores are blocked."
