[Conspiracy Slayer System (Level 8)]
[Power Punch (Level 4): 904 Mental Energy]
Upon seeing the information of two Systems in his vicinity, Compass Carburettor was alarmed. Even though he had expected his foes to track him down eventually, it was still shocking when it actually happened.
The teenager before him was the Host to the Conspiracy Slayer System. He was someone that loved detective stories since young and wished to unearth any and every conspiracy that happened around him.
Before the apocalypse struck, he had revealed the conspiracy of a politician, causing it to become the news highlight for an entire week. He also brought to light a couple other conspiracies too.
And now, when he was moving towards Feora City due to the Quest he obtained recently, he came across the fortress. And, the moment he observed it, his senses triggered, making him realise that some conspiracy was happening at place.
With that, he used his abilities to hurriedly track the location of Compass Carburettor, eventually jumping into his balcony.

Compass Carburettor felt his heart accelerating to tremendous extents as he also felt the second foe calmly moving towards his back, positioning himself/herself in such a way that they would be able to prevent his escape. 'And there are two enemies to boot.'
This was the first time he was confronting a System Host directly, without schemes, without plans, not revealing his identity only at the end when he needed to go in for the kill. He was confronted by not one, but two System Hosts right off the bat.
But, his mind whirred as he sported an expression of puzzlement, stating in confusion, "What do you mean by villain?"
"What else do you think?" The teenager smirked confidently, "That fortress is yours, right?"
"Which fortress?" Compass Carburettor raised his brows in ridicule, calmly taking a seat as he spoke, "I have many under my name."
"Compass Carburettor, a 37-year-old man with a blank slate for a past." The teenager iterated, calmly folding his arms, glancing at Grisha for a moment, "He suddenly appeared in Feora City one day and joined a café as a worker, taking advantage of the exact time when the owner had visited. After that, he used it as a means to eventually climb into the bed of the owner's daughter."
"And now, he's setting up a force to rule a major territory in this apocalypse." The teenager concluded, "Well, that's just the gist of things. There's more from where it came from. Do you want me to say more?"
"Well, you're right about that," Compass Carburettor nodded, smiling, "But, what does that have to be with you calling me a villain? Have you never seen a merchant in your life before?"
"Nice retort, but it won't work on me." The teenager laughed, pointing at the ground floor, "There's an ant nest right below. And, I can feel that you share some connection with it. You are most definitely planning to do something with the ants that would cause suffering to the people."
"So, let me humour you." Compass Carburettor waved his hand towards Grisha upon noticing that she was ready to kill the other party, informing her through telepathy, "Did you suffer under his hands before?"
"Three times," Grisha replied, "He's one annoying bastard. I've tried to kill him many times, but nothing works on him for some reason."
"Thought so. Anyone with a Slayer in their System name wouldn't be weak. They should be ridiculous opponents." Compass Carburettor replied, "Let me handle this. Just be ready to handle our second enemy. They are currently at our six o'clock, 120 metres away."
He then relaxed on his seat a little more, sporting a casual smile while gazing at the teenager, "I'm a merchant in my beliefs. If you are worth your salt, you should have been able to obtain that info."
Seeing the teenager frown in response, his smile widened, "Anyway, tell me. Just what would I get from oppressing people? Suppose let's consider whatever fort you mentioned as my property. How are the people living there? Suppose this fort didn't exist, how do you think the survival rate of the same set of people would become? Have you ever thought about it?"
The teenager visibly gritted his teeth as Compass Carburettor laughed, "No, right? I've seen people like you before. After obtaining some power, you'll be driven by a sense of justice and would work in exposing all the injustice in the world. But, you'll only investigate their darkness and not their light."
"So, consider the pros and cons of my actions. Assign them a numerical value and tell by subtracting the two. Is the result a positive or negative number? And, how big is this positive number?" He smiled.

"Human lives can't be assigned numbers. Are you an idiot?" Compass Carburettor rolled his eyes, throwing off the teenager's flow, "I'm assigning numbers to my actions. Well, if you had received an education, you might be able to use simple math to calculate this."
"Don't…mock me." The teenager gritted his teeth, fuming as a result. But, he didn't take action. In the start, when he had appeared, had Compass Carburettor taken action against him, then his hypothesis would have been verified.
Had Compass Carburettor refuted the claims, then he would be a liar and could be put down.
But, Compass Carburettor had instead posed a question, not one that told the teenager to look at the bright side or made an excuse that he didn't have a choice or the like. All he asked was to calculate the good and bad that he had done.
So, if he took action now, his pride wouldn't allow it to sit within him. That's why the teenager was angry.
As for Compass Carburettor, he had been vague about things from the start. He didn't know how much the teenager had figured out about his plans, but he had no intention to investigate into that. He was just leading the teenager into his pace.
And from the looks of things, it was working somewhat, 'Thankfully, it's not a mindless brute that does the talking with his fists.'
'Though, it seems the second foe is such a character..' Even though he was sporting a calm facade, Compass Carburettor was internally sweating.
