Chapter 476 Terraforming a Mountain
200 kilometres away from Ohka City was a barren mountain where pretty much nothing grew.
This mountain spanned a height of 6000 kilometres and was one of the largest rocky mountains in the Gaider Realm. It also served as a landmark of sorts for those travelling towards Ohka City.
And upon his request, the entire stretch of plateau surrounding the mountain was allotted for the construction of the Academy.
Lall Mountain!
It was a historical mountain that was said to have been a massive battleground long ago. At present, it didn't have anything of worth. Neither were there any precious materials nor anything beneficial.
Accompanying Grisha, he arrived at the location, landing at the peak of the mountain as he used the height to look around. Thankfully, it was a sunny day, allowing him a clear sight of the surroundings.
"The Academy City would be established around the mountain. And, various facilities would be established within the mountain by creating massive caves and a transportation network." He spoke, discussing things with Grisha based on what he hoped to accomplish here.
Even though he could just create a small academy and plant Sleeper Cell seeds in the disciples and call it a day, he didn't want to half-ass things.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAfter all, the more grandeur something was, the stronger the impression it had in the hearts of everyone. And hence, it was better to make an over-the-top academy that would become a historical location, something that would be continued even after he leaves the Gaider Realm.
So, he gave it some serious thought. Even after he leaves this place, Ranze would be living here. Meaning, he would continue the fight against the Systems in the future.
Therefore, Compass Carburettor wished to lay down the groundwork that the Divine Martial Spirits could use to raise warriors of their own that could resist the Systems.
After all, if it succeeds, it would put a dent in the expansion of the System World, at least in this cultivation world.
Whether or not it would prove as effective as he assumed was still to be tested. But, since he had the opportunity and support, he might as well do it.
He summoned the Apocalypse World Compass Carburettor, beginning to take action, "I feel like I'm exploiting myself."
Apocalypse World Ability—Dust Wave!
The Dust Wave penetrated the mountain, instantly creating a network of caves, drilling through the entire mountain. As the rock was ground to dust thanks to the Dust Wave, Compass Carburettor created a Reality Marble by summoning a weak Compass Carburettor.
This weak version of himself existed solely to maintain the Reality Marble that was pretty much a dump for all the dust that resulted from the drilling. This way, it was easy to carry around all the waste.
Transcendent Ability—Mecha!
A small Spydragon flew through the tunnels, opening its mouth as it unleashed a powerful suction force. It was like a vacuum cleaner, sucking up all the dust before unleashing filtered air from its tail end.
The Reality Marble was shrunk and fitted in its body where all the dust that was filtered out was stored. The Spydragon flew through the tunnels, quickly cleaning up all the tunnels of the dust that had been created.
It took a few hours before the Spydragon vanished.
The weak Compass Carburettor arrived at the bottom of the mountain, breaking the Reality Marble to spill out all the dust, creating a massive hill. But, the dust didn't fly away, for it had been solidified with the help of water within the Reality Marble itself.
Compass Carburettor then used the Apocalypse Pearl energy blade, creating massive structures within the mountain, forming pillars everywhere to raise the structural integrity of the place.
That wasn't all, there were also all sorts of transportation systems installed in place, operated by the golems that he had brought with him. All the Earth Grade Golems were left in charge of this.
They had a large reservoir of Origin Essence in them, fuelling their working. And, as long as they were recharged occasionally, they would continue working without issues.
Compass Carburettor obtained dozens of spatial bags full of Essence Stones, gifts from various Clans and Sects, for that was all he requested to build the academy.
And of course, the heads of various organisations had congregated far away from the mountain, shocked as they watched the massive operations he conducted on his own.
"Clan Leader…" The Green Centipede Clan Leader asked nervously, "How…is he able to do all this?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Oh, he didn't tell you about his Martial Spirit, did he?" The Blazing Sun Clan Leader smiled, "Lord Gahrat is his Martial Spirit. That means, all the powers that Lord Gahrat possessed are now owned by Hazen."
Gulp!
Upon his words, the various leaders gulped in nervousness, curbing their prior thoughts.
"Only a monster can fight against the Evil Spirits."
This was the thought that resounded in all their heads, watching the mountain getting terraformed in real-time.
Within a couple of days, Compass Carburettor finished installing hundreds of chambers within the mountain itself, only accessible through select entrances that were all heavily guarded.
The doors were each at least five metres thick, something that had to be opened by the combined efforts of at least a dozen experts at the peak of the Martial Origin Stage.
Through the centre of the mountain ran a massive shaft, like a taproot as tiny paths branched out of it in many directions. This was the place that was reinforced the highest, with the strongest of his energy blade versions, coated by the Apocalypse Pearl to make it resemble the rest of the setup.
Here, countless mechanical lifts ran up and done, all maintained by the group of golems stationed on various floors.
Compass Carburettor then arrived at the bottom-most location of the mountain's inside, at a level that was on par with the ground. But, here was where he created a secret hideout, of course, for raising Origin Beasts whose very purpose was to fight Systems.
And for that, he had an interesting Origin Beast race to use.
