Boznan Burnak was barely ten years old, given plenty of importance in the Burnak Kingdom. And hence, a Pseudo-Saint had been stationed as his royal guard. Following the Pseudo-Saint were two Grandmasters.
This was a level of strength more than enough to protect a prince. But unfortunately for them, when they accompanied the prince on a trip to one of the border cities, Zuhar's spies in the region informed him of the same.
These spies were the drug merchants that had been trying to establish a foothold in the border city. And this was also where they chanced upon Luthak's informants, making a connection. Upon sensing the opportunity in the collaboration, they took the gamble.
Even though the process was carried by Zuhar's men, everything else was arranged by Luthak's people, including transportation to Tentuna city and the means to erase their tracks.
Luthak smirked upon seeing the Pseudo-Saint's body trembling nonstop, unable to reel from the effects of the Mana Capsule, barely managing to hold in his sanity, "What was he fed?"
"An incomplete Mana Capsule." Zuhar said, "The dosage was strengthened to the limit while making the side effects as worse as possible."
"How did you make a Pseudo-Saint consume this?" This was what puzzled Luthak. After all, even his men weren't aware of this, for Zuhar had smoothly carried out the operation. Even though the Mana Capsule was potent, it had to be consumed first to take effect. And considering its sensitive nature where it lost potency when in contact with external elements, drugging people with it seemed impossible.

"You just straight up sold it to him?" Luthak was unable to believe his eyes, wondering what kind of balls did Zuhar have to do something inconceivable like this and approach such a powerful figure.
"It worked precisely because of this." Zuhar said, "No one would expect someone like me to approach directly like a legal transaction. So, I bypassed a lot of things and simply…did it."
'He's one frightening individual.' Luthak observed Zuhar, 'The organisation would love to lay their hands on him.'
Once the Pseudo-Saint bought the Mana Capsule, he consumed it during his resting hours, when the two Grandmasters protected the prince.
And indeed, the effects were as Zuhar had described. But once it ended, he craved for more. Initially, the craving wasn't strong enough, allowing him to easily suppress it. But after a while, the craving intensified every time he circulated his mana, causing him to recall that sensation where he was growing stronger endlessly.
Within a day, he was addicted, suffering from withdrawal symptoms, now unable to even circulate his mana without fearing a spike in his withdrawal symptoms.
And during the time he was yet to fully become addicted, Zuhar also peddled the same to the two Grandmasters too.
After that, they captured the prince and his three incapacitated bodyguards, transporting them without trouble to Tentuna city with Luthak's help.
Luthak then inspected the prince's condition, nodding in response, "Alright, he's uninjured."
He then left the cellar, "Tomorrow, our informants would leak information of the prince's location to the Birdmen."
"My men can take control from here," Luthak said, "They'll begin transporting him atop a Griffon to the capital. This will force the Birdmen to invade deep into the Xetuka Kingdom. And once the Xetuka Kingdom retaliates, war would erupt between the two."
This was the goal of his organisation. By instigating the war between the two Kingdoms, a lot of corpses would pile up. And, these corpses would prove useful for their upcoming plan.
Moreover, the war between the Xetuka Kingdom and the Burnak Kingdom would weaken both parties, causing the damage they sustain in their northern and southern borders to exuberate, spiking up the corpses that piled in response.
'We'll be able to get our hands on Pseudo-Saint corpses too if this works well.' Luthak grinned as he greedily eyed the captured Pseudo-Saint, saying, "Good work, Zuhar. Someone would bring you 2000 Royal Xetuka for this."
"Thank you, boss." Zuhar made a respectable bow, concealing his sly smile, for based on Luthak's attitude, it was apparent that he had made a better impression.

After all, Zuhar could sense that it was strange that his men had yet to return, 'Did they become involved in a conflict with another gang? Those useless freaks!'
The two leaders continued to discuss their plans for the next day, unaware of the Mental Energy serpent calmly sprawled on the ground nearby, staring at them with cold, scaly eyes.
After some time, Zuhar and Luthak made their way out of the cellar when another Mental Energy serpent appeared, slithering into the cellar as it climbed into the body of the Birdmen Pseudo-Saint, causing his eyes to lit up in response as his body gradually stopped trembling.
Moreover, his mana was able to circulate without any problems now. The same thing also happened to the two Grandmasters in nearby cells, while the guards posted nearby remained oblivious to everything.
It wasn't just Compass Carburettor that had taken action. There were also faint sparks that had spread throughout the place, forming faint marks on the bodies of all the thugs, marking them to be tracked.
Standing on the terrace of the lodge that he had booked, Teto—Compass Carburettor—smiled as he looked at Horan, "I believe that I'll be of use in this. Besides, as a human, I won't sit aside while the lives of millions of humans are at stake."
"I am strong enough to do something about this, or at least, reciprocate awareness to the people in power so that they could do something about this."
"You're a great man indeed." Horan said, patting Teto's shoulder before condensing a lighting spark that vanished mysteriously, "I've already messaged my people regarding this. They'll inform the royalties of the Xetuka Kingdom regarding everything we've found out until now."
"In the meantime, let's trace back through Luthak's contacts and track down the organisation he's a part of," Horan said as Teto nodded in response. The two individuals then accompanied Gehera as they entered the alleyways and slowly approached a certain house.
