Zavier gave Marcus a long thoughtful look, then finally exited the scene

skyscrapers. But the morning sun seemed redder than in Riverton, giving off a warm feeling rather than

Ayden said, “We’ve replaced all the hotel staff with our people. I’ll stay on guard here, so Cornelia won’t
be in danger. It’s morning already, you haven’t slept all night. Maybe you should get some rest?”

work for him to repay Granny Luisa, who saved our lives.”
Ayden replied impassively, “Mom, don’t say that again. If it weren’t for Granny Luisa and President
Hartley, we might have been dead a long time ago.”
