Miranda replied, “Of course, if you are going to spend it with Tobias, I will definitely support your
decision.”
Skylar shrugged as she explained in a powerless tone, “Mom, you are getting ahead of yourself. Didn’t
you understand a word Tobias said to you? He does not plan on getting married. In other words, he
doesn’t plan to marry me at all. Who do you think I am to cling to him shamelessly? Aren’t you worried
about being chased out?”
Miranda felt that Skylar was uttering nonsense. After all, Thomas had told her that Tobias had fallen for
her daughter.
