Bel's happiness over ice cream was something Noah really admired. It was cute to see how such a powerful boy could have fun with such trivial things in a normal boy's life.
In spite of that, it was even a little sad, after all, the boy had lived for hundreds of thousands of years, just being content with little happiness in hell, no tasty food, no loving parents, it must have been a very lonely life.
Upon arriving home, Noah used the family app to enroll in another Rank C stronghold. The appointed time for this was the next day at 8:00 am. As the team already had virtually all roles completed, Noah this time was assigned to be a team Assassin, acting as a finisher.
'I just hope that this stronghold is not like the previous stronghold, full of disorderly people.' Noah was a little sorry. With the pressure he had to pass the S Rank in less than two years, he knew this would not be an easy task.
The next day, Noah said goodbye to Maggy and Bel and left the two children watching television. Bel was fascinated with the cartoons, especially Pokemon, as he, as one of the 7 generals, knew very well how fun it was to have powerful monsters at his disposal, and seeing Ash with several different pokemons, Bel found it really fun to see that variety of monsters he had never heard of before.
Mounted on the unicorn and wearing armor of fire, Noah headed for the site of that other fortress.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFrom what he had read in the app after agreeing to invade the fortress with that group, this time they would be invading a large dead forest. Apparently these monsters were of the dark attribute, the vast majority being monsters like ghosts, some with large physical bodies, practically immune to weak magic attacks, while other monsters were ethereal, practically immune to magic attacks.
Upon arriving at the site, Noah was pleased not to see any of the other people he had met in the previous fortress. Those people were very troublesome and no teamwork at all.
Already in this group of blessed, Noah could see that they apparently had a better-defined line of command. So much so that the blessed Rank B didn't even have to say a word to coordinate these people.
Seeing a knight arriving in such an extravagant way suddenly, these people were a little curious, after all, it was rare to find someone who had a Rank C monster as a mount.
"Who is this? Does anyone know?" A bearded man asked.
"I have no idea who it is." A woman in armor replied.
"Hmm, I think I've heard of him. My cousin broke into a Rank C stronghold these days and said there was a very young boy who stood out for using a lot of fire in his attacks. He has so many abilities, to the point that my cousin believes that the boy had a Rank B, or even Rank A, blessing." A young woman said with a thoughtful expression.
"A Rank A blessing? I find it a little difficult, if there was someone like that we would know in advance, after all, the entry of a blessed person with such a powerful blessing into the family is always a reason for much celebration and exposure for other families." The bearded man replied as he held his big ax.
"If it's not a Rank A blessing, it could be a Rank B Peak blessing. That's not impossible. It's a good thing someone like that joined our group. But you said he was pretty young, right? Maybe we have discipline issues of him inside the fortress." A 24-year-old said in a serious tone.
"Bah, if he's a young delinquent, just let him die in the fortress. We just called someone else because George had to stay in the hospital. But looking at this boy's heavy armor, he doesn't look like an assassin in my vision. " The bearded man said with some anger.
"Don't be reckless, don't judge a book by its cover. This kid might be a different style of assassin, who knows? It might even make the fortress more fun, I haven't had fun breaking into that for a long time." The young man said with a small smile at the corner of his mouth.
While Noah identified with the fortress organizing team, people just stared at him with curiosity.
"Good morning everyone, my name is Noah Stern." Noah said politely as he approached.
"Young, definitely young. Just by that voice I can smell your mother's milk from here, boy hahaha." The bearded man chuckled as he swung the big ax around.
Noah took off his helmet and showed his face to the others. Which shocked these people even more.
"Damn, I didn't even think I was that young." The bearded man said as he stared at Noah with his mouth shaped like an 'o'.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Hello Noah, my name is Michael, nice to meet you. I am the captain of this team, as our Assassin was seriously injured in the last invasion we participated, we requested an assassin through the family app. I believe it's you, right? " The young man said while keeping his speech polite.
The way the young man spoke to him greatly pleased Noah. If people were polite to him, he would be even more polite to the person. Dealing with these types of people was much easier than dealing with idiots who only thought of family reward points.
"Yes, I will be the assassin for this invasion. Because of my blessing being very versatile, I can fit in very well in different positions of a team, I've played as Mage, Warrior, Scout, Assassin, none of this is a problem for me." Noah responded matter-of-factly.
Hearing Noah said it made these people have two different kinds of thoughts, either this boy was extremely talented and they were underestimating him, or it could be another case where this boy was just very young and had a very likely characteristic, namely he was very arrogant.
This caused some disgust among the people on the invasion team.
"Hmm, that's good to hear. Versatile people are sometimes more valuable than two ordinary people. Do you happen to mind showing us how you would act as an assassin against someone in our group? Please just a demonstration, try not to hurt nobody hehe." The young man said with a smile, but he also had a little doubt as he looked at Noah.
None of the team took the captain's words very seriously, after all, they were a very prominent Rank C team in the family, even the mages had several ways to protect themselves against sneak attacks, even more so as they were clearly seeing Noah, if he to get out of everyone's eyes so easily would be a miracle, let alone manage to sneak in and attack someone so easily.
"Of course, I think that before an invasion it is necessary to know the teammates well, I believe that a small demonstration of my strength could be more useful so that the captain can make corresponding tactics for each situation." Noah responded with a small smirk as well.
Seeing Noah's polite reaction, some of the team's animosity faded. At the point of even thinking. 'Even if this boy is not as powerful as he said, at least he has a good attitude.'
But before they could say anything, Noah did something that completely changed their view of this blessed young man who looked no older than 20.
