Alex was reaching closer to the tree roots without facing problems from golden frogs roaming the floors, but the terrible smell was getting worse with every passing second making his journey a horrible experience.

After struggling for twenty minutes, Alex reached a dead end as there was no more passage leading down to the tree roots, and no legacy tomb was on the floor.

'There should be a hidden passage leading down underground.' Alex knew that if this tree had a legacy tomb, it should be underground.

'I have two hours before my stealth time gets over.' Alex started searching the whole floor, not leaving a single corner unchecked.

'Finally found it, but the location couldn't be worse.' Alex found a hidden underground stair passage covered with dead and decaying animals.

The underground stair passage was barely visible under an enormous pile of dead and decaying animals, making it impossible for Alex to remove the dead bodies without getting discovered by golden frogs.

'There is no way I could fight these golden frogs and survive to explore the underground floor passage and find the legacy tomb.' Alex thought, looking at the wandering golden flogs on the floor.

After thinking and deposing many plans, Alex thought of a ridiculous idea that could give him a couple of minutes and let him leave this place alive and even complete his mission.

'If I don't get discovered for two minutes, this plan will succeed.' Alex started the plan and reached the pile of bodies.

After carefully looking at the pile of bodies, Alex made a strategy for what bodies to remove to create enough space for him to access the underground stair passage.

'My plan may truly work.' Alex thought after seeing the bodies not blocking the whole stairs case leaving more than enough space for him to reach the underground area.

'Let's create some space in this pile of bodies.' Alex carefully picked the first dead body and slid it to the side.

Alex knew his stealth would not be affected when he moved the bodies, but the problem was that the frogs could see that the bodies were moving and would attack without thinking.

Alex kept sliding the dead bodies to the side while being on full high alert, slowly creating enough space for him to access the underground stair passage.

'That bastard noticed.' Alex immediately knew as he saw a giant golden frog looking in his direction with complete focus, and just as he expected, the frog's neck swelled, making him look hideous.

'I was hoping to slip without getting noticed.' Alex thought as he saw the frog swelled neck, already knowing what would happen next.

Alex immediately used "BERSERK," increasing his stats by 50% and then used the second skill of cloak, "Quick Steps," increasing his agility stat by another 30%.

Alex was now standing without his stealth on a floor filled with high-level golden frogs covering that would pounce at him any moment.

CRRROOOOAAAAKKKK

'You are late.' Alex used his increased strength to push aside the remaining bodies blocking his path, creating enough space for him to enter the stair passage.

After reaching the stairs, Alex turned around to see the frog, ready to charge and crash at his location in seconds.

Alex used both hands to pull a body from the middle of the big pile of bodies blocking the little entrances he had created to buy him some extra minutes.

After doing the deed, he started running downstairs, knowing the bodies won't stop the frogs for much time, and he only had a couple of minutes to find the legacy tomb.

'This is the worst situation that could have happened.' After reaching the end of the stairs, Alex reached a large empty area.

In the middle of the underground area, there was a white shrine putting a smile on Alex's face, but after seeing the thing next to the shrine, his smile was gone.

'At least I tried.' Alex thought after seeing the giant golden frog next to the shrine.

Alex was thinking of a plan to save his life and place the teleportation marker near the shrine, but any plan he thought had the same result of him dying.

'Let's leave the legacy for now. I could acquire it in the future.' Alex took out the return scroll to get back to the city.

"Human, You need to at least greet the homeowner before leaving." Alex heard a woman's voice frightening him as he knew who the voice belonged to.

Alex immediately tried to use the return scroll, but before he could give the system any order, his body crashed to the ground as the gravity around him increased tremendously.

Alex crashed to the ground, and the pressure on him kept increasing as his bones started to break and his muscles were getting destroyed under the crazy amount of weight.

"If I wanted to kill you, I would have done that the moment you disturbed my sleep." Alex looked up and saw the giant golden frog looking at him without releasing any killing intent.

'I am not leaving this place alive.' Alex thought, struggling to stand up as the Mana pressure around him was gone.

Alex was losing HP with every passing moment and was feeling a crazy amount of pain as his bones and muscles were in a mangled state, and his body was trying to heal and stop the heavy bleeding.

"No Need to be afraid because If you fulfill my one request, I will let you live and leave this place without a scratch."

After hearing the creature's demand, Alex wanted nothing but to curse at her, but before he could do that, he got covered with golden light particles that healed all his injuries and removed all the pain.

"The pain you felt was the punishment for invading my home without permission."

"If you don't want to listen to my request, I will give you peaceful death." Alex knew his following action would decide his fate, and he was not an idiot to choose the one with an agonizing death.

'If this bitch tries to mess with me, I will come back to rip her apart from limb to limb in the near future.'

"I would listen to your request," Alex replied and walked toward the frog.

"Human, You know what this white building is?" Krelanzee asked.

"It is Tomb," Alex answered.

"It is not a normal Tomb but a Legacy Tomb belonging to a great and benevolent warrior," Krelanzee replied with genuine pride in her big eyes.

"It is a Legacy Tomb?" Alex tried his best to appear surprised.

"The Legacy tomb belongs to the War Priestess, and my request to you is also related to it."

"If you could stop acting, we could discuss my request," Krelanzee said, seeing right through Alex's fake acting.

'I am not surprised that an old monster like her could tell I am acting, but what could be her request that needs human help?'
