'I agreed to Yanric deal and didn't ask for anything unreasonable, so Yanric doing this doesn't make sense.'

'I believe she is doing this on her own accord, and Yanric has no idea about it.' Alex thought, looking at the golden leopard walking toward him calmly, not releasing any mana pressure, but her beastly presence alone was suffocating.

'Now the question is, what does she wants from me.' Alex thought, waiting for the questions to reevaluate his situation.

The golden leopard kept walking toward Alex, and after reaching close enough, she lowered her head, and when her giant face was a few inches away from him, she stated her demand.

"Adventurer, I want you to break the deal with Yanric, and in return, not only will you live to see the next day, but I will also give you treasures you can't imagine in your life."

'This could be a test to see if I am trustworthy or a straight threat.' Alex thought, racking his brain to come up with a reasonable answer to get out of this troublesome situation.

'If I didn't accept her offer and she was serious with her threat, she would kill me, and if I accepted her offer and broke the deal with Yanric, I would lose on such a great opportunity.'

After thinking for a few seconds, Alex decided to take a little risk and make an offer, and if it didn't work, he would cancel the deal with Yanric as he had no other choice.

Alex knew strong Npcs could use their elemental flames to kill his game avatar permanently, but he was not worried about it because he could use one of his protection wishes to save his life.

In the Ancient world, every player was given three protection wishes that he could use to save his life in an event if an NPC wanted to kill his avatar permanently.

AI Zero was responsible for fulfilling the protection wish of a player, but the wish would only work against an NPC, and it would be useless against a fellow player.

"Lady Sarnah, If you are concerned that I would betray Yanric in the future, then I can agree to a watcher contract with death as the penalty for breaching the contract," Alex said and waited for Sarnah's reaction to his offer.

Alex didn't want to lose the deal with Yanric because of his status, and if he could complete the deal by agreeing to a watcher contract, then he had no problem as he never planned to betray Yanric, who would be his money-making machine in the future.

"Adventurer, you have made this offer, and I didn't force you, so now be a gentleman and be true to your words," Sarnah said happily, and before Alex could understand the meaning behind her words, the illusion around him started to crumble.

'It was not as hard as I expected,' Alex thought as the darkness covering his eyes vanished, and he saw Yanric extending his hand toward him.

"Sir Hidden One, The chimera tail you wanted is in this space ring with a little extra gift, and you do not need to pay for anything as this is my way of showing appreciation to you for accepting my deal," Yanric said, giving Alex the space ring.

'He is generous and trust way too quickly, while his guardian is scary. What a messed up combination.' Alex thought as he took the space ring and looked toward Sarnah, who was looking back at him with a pretty smile.

"Master, I will be taking my leave," Sarnah said as she vanished like a ghost from sight.

"Yanric, I think we should also sign a watcher contract just for safety, and when we can trust each other better, we can null the contract," Alex said.

"Sir Hidden One, We can do it when we finalize our deal in a month," Yanric said, looking confused by the abrupt request.

Alex didn't push to sign a watcher contract, and after emptying the space ring contents into his inventory without checking, he placed it on the table.

"I will be taking my leave, and if you face any issues while looking for suitable shops, then you could contact me," Alex said as he stood up, ready to leave.

After exchanging some pleasantries with Yanric, Alex left the shop and quickly found a carriage that took him straight to the city exit.

Alex didn't forget about the guard who gave him information about the chimera, and before leaving the city, he paid the guard double the promised amount of money.

Alex took a magic cart and safely left the underground area, and after reaching the surface, he left toward his hotel to log out from the game and get some rest to freshen up before meeting with Badger and Hecate.

"Master, I don't understand why you would give the immortal adventurer so many benefits when those big guilds are willing to offer you everything you need to do business on the whole human continent while asking for nothing in return?" A man appeared next to Yanric right after Alex left the shop.

The man who appeared next to Yanric was close to eight feet in height with a huge bulking body, and one could tell that he controlled tremendous strength just from looking at his massive bare arms not covered by the cloak.

"Nullox, you understand that those greedy immortal adventurer guilds want to befriend master and use him to get access to the beast continent?" Sarnah said, appearing next to Yanric as she had never left that position.

"Why are you in your war beast form when there is no danger to master life?" Sarnah said as she flicked her hand, removing the hood and revealing his face, which was that of a goat with giant pale orange horns.

"This is my new training method to gain strength," Nullox replied with a broad smile which gave his goat face quite a scary look.

"You stupid goat, the war beast form condenses all your pure beast form strength into a small humanoid body, and the more time you stay in war beast form, the more internal damage your body will receive, and even though using it more often can help you get stronger."

"If you forcefully stay in your war beast form to push your body limit, it would only weaken you in the long run," Sarnah said.

"Sarnah, Stop with the lecture Nullox is not stupid." A man said as he sat in front of Yanric.

"Commander Lurquas, This stupid goat will be useless when he is needed to use his war beast form to protect master," Sarnah replied to the man.

The man named Commander Lurquas was a middle age man with a thick white beard, and with a single glance, one could tell he was a lion Beastmen.

"If Nullox is ever useless in the time of need, then he knows what would be his punishment, so you should stop giving him lectures and focus on being more useful to the young master," Lurquas replied in a serious tone, and Sarnah who wanted to complain some more immediately swallowed her words back.

"Young Master, I know that immortal adventurer is someone extraordinary as he has the aura of death mana around him, but I don't understand why you would offer him so many benefits," Lurquas asked Yanric, who was peacefully drinking some wine he offered Alex as a toast.

"Lurquas, why did I come to the human continent?" Yanric didn't reply but asked his own question.

"We came to find a method to unlock your sealed bloodline," Lurquas replied.

"The whole beast continent believes I am a useless child born to the two strongest rulers of the beast continent, and they are not wrong about it."

"As even though I have a very pure bloodline, it is essentially useless if it is sealed, and I can't use it," Yanric said as he looked at his reflection in the wine cup with a broad smile, but as his head was down, none of his guardians saw it.

"Young Master, the people who believe you have no potential are just useless scums who will achieve nothing in their life, and what if your bloodline is sealed? It is still one of the purest bloodlines with the greatest potential."

"Young Master, Your father has given us the key to look for the Mythical Ancient Artifact that could unlock your bloodline, and sooner or later, we will find the artifact," Lurquas said.

"Lurquas, We came to this continent to find the Ancient Artifact that could unlock my bloodline, but it's been two years, and we haven't made any progress."
