[BONUS]
Princess Elena was happy at Ren's words, and it showed on the smile on her face.
"Good. I'm long prepared."
"Is your absence going to be a problem?" Ren asked.
"It will," Princess Elena said without a care. "I'll just leave notes. My mother and the others wouldn't be able to stop me once I'm in the Fey Realm anyway."
"Is that right?"
Princess Elena chortled. "What. You came all the way here just to ask me if I'm going to get in trouble if I left? I am touched, but I don't see you as someone who really cared."
Ren wasn't surprised about the Princess's reactions. Though they were NPCs, each of them had a set of complicated systems that, if not perfectly imitating a real person, at least close enough to be a real human.
"Actually, no. It's not the only reason why I'm here," answered Ren. "I wanted to know if you've heard about a Dimensional Storage."
Of course, Ren had already used [Probe] before at the Princess, and she had a good set of skills and spells. But he had never seen anything about a skill called [Dimensional Storage].
"Yeah. I can use space magic and also have the racial ability of the elf that can craft rare and legendary items. I have a dimensional storage here."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtPrincess Elena extended her hand with a ring on her finger.
Ren used appraisal on the ring and found that it was really a dimensional storage accessory!
[ACQUIRED! Dimensional Storage Ring Recipe!]
The dimensional storage ring on the Elven Princess finger was a truly remarkable piece of elven craftsmanship. Made of a shining, silver metal that glowed with a faint inner light, it appeared delicate and ornate, with intricate filigree designs that twisted and curled around its surface.
The ring was set with a large, glittering emerald at its center, which radiated a soft green light that shimmered and danced across the ring's surface.
But what made the ring truly extraordinary was its ability to hold an incredible amount of items within it, despite its small size – it was almost limitless.
When Princess Elena touched the ring with her other hand and concentrated, a faint shimmering light appeared around her finger, and the ring began to glow with a bright, otherworldly light.
As she touched the ring with her fingertips, she felt a slight resistance as though she was pushing her hand through a thin veil of mist.
When she withdrew her hand, Ren found that the ring had opened up a small portal into another dimension, and the Princess demonstrated how it worked by placing an empty cup inside the ring as if it were a small storage space.
The portal sucked the item no matter how large their size was. The portal was controlled by Princess Elena's thoughts, so she could retrieve any item she needed with a simple mental command.
"I'm proud of this creation. Its space is immense, allowing me to store a vast array of objects within it. From weapons and armor to materials and trinkets, the ring can hold an astonishing amount of items, making it a valuable and versatile tool for me."
"Can you make me one?" Ren said straight to the point. "I will pay you."
This ring was the answer to his problem, and he could even make it right now, but he didn't have enough materials. He needed a [Dimensional Stone]. It wasn't just a stone found in a cave. It was a crafted material, meaning he needed to craft all kinds of materials to craft the stone as the final product before he could finally craft that ring.
Ren didn't have the necessary materials and time for that and why would he do all those strenuous and time consuming things if he could have it within a blink?
"Pay me?" Princess Elena scoffed. "Do you think I need mortal money?"
Ren grumbled under her breath. Of course, she didn't. She was the Princess! Money was the least of her problems.
"Then . . . what do you want so you can craft me one?" Ren asked, not giving up.
At this point, if the Princess asked for him to dance so she could make him one, Ren would gladly do it.
He was that desperate.
Princess Elena seriously considered what Ren said. "If we . . ."
"No. I need the ring now," Ren cut her off when he knew what she would say. The Princess will craft him one once they clear the mission, was what she was going to say.
"I need it to store my items in preparation before we enter the Fey Realm."
"If that's the case, then I will lend you one."
". . . Eh? Really?" Ren didn't expect that the Princess would agree that easily.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmPrincess Elena nodded like it wasn't a big deal. "Yes. I have plenty more of this, though I have to tweak the design a bit to suit your gender and size."
And before Ren could react, Princess Elena reached for his hand and checked his wrist size. The sudden gesture and closeness caught Ren by surprise.
Ren was frozen for a moment, unsure of how to respond. But as he looked into the Princess's eyes, he saw a depth of emotion there. She was really concentrating on what she was doing, and he felt a little silly about thinking strange thoughts.
There was a tenderness in the Princess gaze, a sense of vulnerability that made Ren's heart race a little. He could see that she was struggling with something, and when her face lighted in a smile, Ren found his worries lessened a little.
It was not like he like her that way. It was simply because the Princess's beauty and aura had that kind of effect on anyone.
When the Princess realized that she was closed, instead of pulling back and shying away, Princess Elena grinned, eyes twinkling in mischief.
"Don't fall for me now."
Ren pulled his arm and said in a flat tone, "Did you get my size?"
The Princess only playfully laughed. "You're no fun. At least now I know that you won't fall for my charms. My trust in you increased a little."
[Your Relationship Level with Princes Elena has increase!]
Ren didn't even do anything, and it already increased? And here he thought he was being cold.
"I don't want men stumbling here and there because they couldn't focus on the job just because my face was a distraction."
Ren raised an eyebrow. "That happens?"
Princess Elena's expression turned serious. "All the time."
Ren could only imagine what had happened. In a way, her beauty was some kind of a weapon too.
