Just then, Charlie turned around and saw Roderick talking to Theresa, so she and Roderick immediately stopped
talking.

Leonard looked over at the crabs on the table and then at Roderick.
Roderick understood and said, “You want this? I’ll get it for you.”
With that, he took a crab, shelled it and removed the unwanted parts, and put it on Leonard’s plate.
“Thank you, Uncle Roderick,” Leonard said politely.
He was only so polite to Roderick.
Charlie sat there and looked at his elder son, who was cold to him at home. From his office to here, he had been
with Leonard for quite some time, but Leonard hadn’t said a word to him.
Why was this brat so nice to Roderick?
Jack exclaimed in protest, “It’s not fair, Roderick. Why is he so nice to you?”
Roderick said, “Maybe he wants me to be his godfather.”
Jack said, “You’re thinking too much. That’s not possible.”
Leonard looked as aloof as Charlie.
Jack didn’t think that the boy would want anyone to be his godfather.

Jack said in surprise, “Charlie, your son wants Roderick to be his godfather. What do you think?”
“No way.”
He would be mad if that happened.
“Actually, I think it’s good. Why are you so petty? Look how close they are.”
“You can get out if you don’t want to eat!” Charlie was so angry with Leonard at this moment.
What Jack said was undoubtedly adding fuel to the fire.

Daphne came out of the kitchen with a big bowl of shrimp. She placed all the food on the table, looked at Charlie
