Isabel was stunned.
After Roland took everything out, he said to the guard," Please carry these things in as well."
"Right." The guard immediately called for the others.
Only then did Roland look at Isabel, who was speechless.
He smiled boyishly. "I came in a hurry, so I only prepared this much. I don't know if your parents will like them."
Isabel replied with a smile, "They'll like them."
They were all expensive items, and they were all things that her parents usually liked. She could tell that he chose

After speaking, she went forward to take one of his hands. She looked at the gifts being carried in by the guards
and said, "Come on, let's go inside."
Roland pursed his lips. "Okay."
Isabel sent a message to Sylvia before boarding the plane, saying that she would be coming back with Roland
tonight.

Sylvia smiled and said, "Why are you calling him Mr. Carter when you're already calling me Auntie? Just call him
Uncle."
Roland looked at Odell. When Odell did not object, he said," Okay."
Sylvia asked, "Have you eaten?"
Roland replied, "Isabel and I ate on the plane."
"Good," Sylvia said with a smile, "Don't just stand there.
Come have a seat."
There were still seats available beside Flint, but it was not spacious.
Isabel gave him a look and signaled for him to move elsewhere so that Roland and she could have that spot.
However, Flint pretended not to see and lay down instead.
Isabel shot him a look and raised a fist.
Sylvia said, "Ahem, Isabel, come sit with me."
Isabel looked at Roland.
Roland pursed his lips at her, obviously indicating for her to go and not to worry about him.
Isabel was not worried about him, but she was not at ease. She glared at Flint and motioned for him not to make
things difficult for Roland, or else.
Flint raised his brows with a smile and sat up straight.
He opened up an empty spot beside him for Roland.

Roland sat down beside Flint.
Then, Isabel heard Flint's provoking question, "So, you're the guy who secretly flirted with my sister in our company

Isabel shot him a displeased look.
Roland maintained a calm expression and said, "I didn't meet Isabel at Carter Corporation."
Flint did not seem to believe him and asked suspiciously,"
Then where did you meet?"
Roland said, "By the side of the road. My mother suddenly got sick, and Isabel happened to pass by. She saved my
mother."
Flint was instantly silenced by those words.
Odell, Sylvia, Liam, and Caprice all looked surprised.
They turned to Isabel.
Isabel hummed. "That’s right."
Odell asked, "When did this happen?"
Roland replied, "Some time before I joined Carter Corporation."
