“What happened to I don’t have the strength to deal with vidette shit?” Jim asked as I moved toward the Grimm Vidette.

“I truly did not have the strength to fight it directly; I was only able to bind it because Rhea defeated,” I replied with a smile before appearing before a vidette and revealing my face through the diamond energy that is covering me.

A surprise couldn’t help but flash in its eyes before horror dawned on its face. My notoriety had spread far and wide among the Grimm Monsters, especially since the crystal roses appeared on the battlefield; there wouldn’t be any Grimm Tyrant that didn’t know about me.

I threw the storage of the vidette at Rhea before enveloping it and myself in the curtain of energy.

In my current condition, I could not transport it to my core and also could not harvest as I usually do due to access to fewer strings as before; it is going to take double time to harvest as it usually does.

It took six minutes for me to spread the strings inside it and start the harvest process, and as I did, the mysterious tree began to suck away the vidette with as much energy my strings could carry. If my strings could carry a hundred times more energy than their current, then it would have drained this fearful vidette in less than five seconds.

It took a tree one and half minutes to completely drain the vidette before it became growing again.

This time the growth of the tree is not completely focused on getting taller. Instead, multiple branches spread out of it, and leaves begin to sprout over it at a visible speed. No matter how many times I look, watching it grow at visible speed still enchant me.

It only grew for a minute, but now it had become slightly taller with much wider branches like before. It slightly looked like an orange tree which the trunk being double thick.

I spent a few more seconds observing the tree before I got out my core and removed the energy screen.

“Hun, no essence rose; I was hoping to see the essence rose made out of the vidette,” Jim said as I appeared. “Vidette essence could not be harvested into essence rose,” I replied with a smile. “Then why do you need the vidette for?” He asked back.

“It’s a secret,” I replied.

“Fine, don’t tell me, now that you guys have rescued me, let’s go harvest some resources,” Jim said, and Rhea looked at him like he was mad.

“We have just rescued you, and you want to repeat the thing that put you into that formation. Have you not learned anything?” Rhea asked with a voice that was slightly loud. She had clearly gotten angry at Jim’s suggestion.

“Dear Rhea, of course, I had learned, and I would not have suggested it if it had been anyone but my dear friend Micheal; we have a chance to get far more resources than we have imagined,” He said with his eyes twinkling, probably imagining getting the resources he had just suggested.

“It is too dangerous, and there is Grandmaster here. If we got caught by him, we would be dead,” She said, clearly not agreeing with his suggestion.

“Dear Rhea, you have to understand there are an immense amount of resources here; what we had harvested are just Master level, we have not even touched those at Grandmaster level that deeper in the garden,”

“Imagine the help those Grandmaster level resources could provide us, especially breaking into Grandmaster. You understand the number of resources needed for that, won’t you?” He asked, making a compelling argument which finally made the hesitation appear on Rhea’s face.

“As for the Grandmaster, there is a very low chance it would be any threat to us with the help of Micheal and this nifty little artifact I have,” He said and showed a blue metal ring with a green gem top of it.

Rhea seemed to know what the ring was, as the hesitation on her finally broke away. “Fine, but we will have to be extremely careful; those Grandmaster level fields would not be easy to enter,” she said while looking at Jim intently.

“While it will be a little expensive, I have a way to deal with such a scenario,” Jim replied before he turned to me.

“You don’t have any objection about the plan, right, Micheal?” Jim asked, “Since both of you have already decided on things, who am I to object to,” I said with a sigh. They have already discussed the plan and covered everything, and who I am to say no to the Grandmaster level resources.

They are extremely rare and could only be found in a dangerous place such as this one, and there is no way I am going to let go of this wonderful opportunity I have come across, even if there is a danger of the Grandmaster.

“Good, now take out the map?” He said to Rhea suddenly, who looked at him in confusion. “The two dumbfucks you have killed earlier have somehow gotten the hold of a map of this place,” he said.

“It would take a while to break the lock on its storage,” she said, “Here,” I said, and a map appeared in my hand.

Unlike her, I did not have to break the storage ring manually. The formation in the storage ring breaks the formations better than any artifact Ive ever seen.

The speck of the soul that had survived the ruin of thousands of years seemed to be very smart that formation it had created in my ring had broken every storage ring I had come across; it had never disappointed me.

“According to the map, we are at the outer edges of this garden, and the deeper we go, the rarer and high-level plants we will get to harvest,” Jim said excitedly while pointing at the places on the map.

“It would also be very dangerous,” Rhea quipped, but Jim ignored that and began to study the map more detailedly.
