We walked out of the door and reached the place where the artifacts were placed. I directly looked at one thing I desired here, the place which is giving off a spatial fluctuation.
"I want that plate," I said; I had said before when we had entered this place on our way to the final sanctum. I am saying it now because I want it to be the first artifact to be opened here and also reinstate my claims on it.
"It is a spatial artifact, and these are quite rare," She said without showing any emotions on her face, but it is clear by her words she wanted it.
She can forget about having it; I will not relent. Especially here, there are only two doors I have to open to leave, and I am confident I could open them with the resources and the artifacts I have without her help.
If she tried for it, then she could leave her on her own, as I would not take her with me, and I told her with my expression.
"You can have it," She said with a sigh after a few seconds and moved to touch its protective field when I shook my head.
"You don't have to do that. Here is the key." I said and brought out the formation. It clearly surprised her but also confused her at the same time. "When did y" she stopped her question mid-way as understanding dawned on her face.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe last time when we were here, Sarah tried to break the protection of the few artifacts; while she was not able to do, it gave me a chance to copy those formations. I solved this formation when I had some free time in the garden.
Buzz!
She copied the formation and placed her gloved hand on the protection, and a few seconds later, the plate was completely free.
I could see Sarah's hand twitched to take the plate, but she did not. It is good she did not because I would have not let her do that; my strings were ready to intervene, and with all the great advancement, she is still not powerful enough to deal with my strings.
I took the plate off the stand, and as I touched it, I felt its spatial nature of it.
Without wasting any time, I inserted my energy inside it, and in the next second, information about it flooded into my mind, and reading it, a big ecstatic smile couldn't help but appear on my face; with the plate, the feather would finally get a reprieve.
The artifact's name is harsor's plate, and it is a spatial artifact. It is a pointer-type artifact; it could be used as a central piece in any spatial formation, and the most amazing thing about it is self-charging.
The speed of charging is slow, but with the three times more time, I don't think I will need to continuously charge it as I do the feather. Most importantly, it can take the feather's place in the formation I use to trap the Grimms.
With this plate, I now have feathers free for more important things, or I could combine the power of both of them to trap an especially powerful enemy.
I hope I will never come across such an enemy, as the one that will require the power of both artifacts would definitely be above my league.
The artifact is very good; the only regret I have about it is the ugly face of an asar race man painted on it; regretfully, I could not change it
"Now that you have got the plate, open this for me," She said, mentioning the black metal bracelet. "It will take time; I haven't broken that formation yet," I said, hearing that her eyes became even colder, and she opened her mouth to say something but closed it, seeing the smile on my face.
Buzz!
Two days passed, and finally, the last artifact opened; it was a beautiful scaled leather jacket with the design of wavy sea waves and a beautiful moon hanging in the sky.
It is one of few artifacts here that haven't had the ugly image of the asar race man painted on it.
In the past two days, we have broken out more than twenty artifacts; some of them were useful, some were not. One was total useless that Sarah did not even store it in her storage; she threw it out. I had picked it up, thinking her trash might be my treasure, but I was wrong.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThough, I did not throw it away. It is still an artifact and of a pretty high-level one. I will be able to get something from it.
I took the jacket in my hand and inserted energy inside it. Ten seconds later, I removed the defensive artifact I was wearing and wore a jacket. Its size instantly begins to change until it fits perfectly with me and feels quite amazing.
I have many amazing clothes, even beautiful clothing artifacts, but I did not wear them, but this one is really good that I couldn't resist wearing.
Seeing me wearing a jacket, even Sarah couldn't help but arch a brow; she can think whatever she wants, but I am not going to tell her about its abilities; she might ask for it, but she lost her chance when she chose the ring over the jacket.
Krrr!
"Let's go," she said coldly and walked toward the door and pushed it with her gloved hand.
The door opened, and we finally walked into the familiar floor, where both of our cheeks turned red as we saw the statue. Sarah did not even glance at them before pushing the door with their gloved hand.
This one I did not solve but her glove, its grade is high enough to solve this level of formation.
We walked into the first floor and carefully avoided all traps lying there before finally reaching the exit door.
It had been nine days since we came here, and it was time that we returned to the Pyramid.
