I opened my eyes and the first thing, I felt was cold.
I looked and saw the brown-green water in the tub had turned nearly colorless. I had been in it for nearly thirty-one hours.
Those injuries were not normal; I wanted to deal with them as soon as possible.
With a thought, my meta-scan appeared in front of me, and, seeing it, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.
Not all injuries have been healed; the damage was deep and would take a few more to heal, but I have healed enough, that I would be able to use all my strength without any problem.
I turned my focus away from injuries to the increment, and it was shocking.
The last treatment had clicked with the other treatments and increased my strength more than I thought. It had already surpassed my expectations, with a coppery essence, which had given me a three times bigger increase than I had expected.
It also brought me to the limit of the treatments.
Now, I won't be able to increase my strength with the treatments, without suffering the side effects, but I am not worried about it.
I would need to focus on my methods and more limits would be freed for the treatments. This is good, because I have enough time to practice the methods, before reaching my destination.
My next destination is an exit, but it is far, and on the way, there are several places that I want to visit, including one similar to this one, but it will take me at least ten days to reach it.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe meta-scan disappeared, and I walked out of the tub before stepping into the shower.
I want to erase the smell of the solution. It is not bad, but it isn't good either and I don't want to step out with that smell hanging on to me.
Fifteen minutes later, I walked out of the shower with no smell.
I cooked myself an early breakfast and ate it, before laying on the couch and closing my eyes. I wanted to leave immediately, but currently, it was night; I would need to wait for two more hours before I could leave.
I entered the library and joined three of my clones on inheritance.
My strength is progressing toward the limit; I need to progress with the inheritance too. My clones are making good progress, but I would like it if they were able to go a little faster.
I want inheritance done before reaching the limit, which would be quite a challenge to see, I had wasted nearly a month.
I pushed those thoughts away and focused on the inheritance. I have a lot of ideas and I want to see whether they would work on it.
Most of the ideas didn't work, but that is natural.
Hours passed, and before I knew it, it was time for me to leave. I didn't want to, seeing it had been quite a while since I was able to focus as such on the inheritance, but I couldn't stay further.
I decided I would be setting the abode an hour early; it might delay my journey a little, but I don't mind doing it for my inheritance.
When I got out, it was still dark, but there were a lot of people outside. Since I came here, the number of people has nearly doubled.
More and more people are entering the ruin with their target being places like this, which helps them increase their strength.
I didn't immediately leave and instead walked toward the market. There are already a lot of shops, and more are being set up every minute.
I shopped for over two hours, buying everything from precious plants to unique rocks and crystals, which made me curious.
I am leaving at the perfect time; it is time, most Earth Sovereign chose to leave. It was past dawn and energy had become thin enough that the average Earth Sovereign could walk out, without any problem.
I could have left sooner, without visiting the market, but I didn't want to arouse suspicion.
I already have some people looking at me, thanks to my visit to the sixth palace.
I could feel the eyes of some, and few had directly covered me with their soul sense. I acted like, I didn't sense it at all and continued moving.
They didn't have any bad intention, only curious, more than half of my soul sense left me as I reached the boundary of the palaces and less than of them remained as I crossed it.
I may not sense the bad intentions, but I am cautious. If I sensed them coming, I have a plan to get away and with the progress I have made with forbidden power, I may even be able to escape from Sky Sovereign, if lucky enough.
I remained close to hundreds of people, leaving, and nearly half of them were moving in a similar direction as me.
An hour passed and then another, all the soul senses had left me and as far as I could tell, nobody seemed to be following me.
I have started releasing the waves again and know the position of everyone around me.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAnother three hours passed, and beautiful pink petals came out. They swirled around before turning invisible and moved away toward the first target. I have gone far enough that I could use the petals.
If I made enough preparations, I could even fight against the cultist, without anyone discovering.
In the week, with the new knowledge of forbidden power, I had improved the petals a lot. They now have a much greater range, and their stealth has increased enough; I might use them in places where Sky Sovereigns is present.
Though not on the Sky Sovereigns, it is a huge risk.
I have taken that risk with my seeds after careful preparations. That even if they discovered it, they wouldn't know it would be me.
I could take such precaution here too, but I prefer to go against the energies against whom I could survive. I couldn't survive against the normal Sky Sovereigns, forget a Grade II or above.
In an hour, I had tested the petals on fourteen people and not a single one turned out to be a cultist.
It frustrated me, but also made me relieved.
Frustrated because I didn't find the cultist and relieved for the same reason. I feared there would be a lot of cultists of the beast god cult, but there aren't, or they may not be present in a place like this, which is cautious against them.
I had heard whispers of the beast god cult in the five palaces. Some were openly paying massive bounties for them.
Two and a half hours passed, and I tested many more, but I have not found a single cultist, but keep testing them.
Like this big group of six, it is unlikely these are the cultists, but the petals still moved toward them.
They entered the horned woman's first and the beastman. Third was the human and then the fourth was a tall woman glowing blue rock on her temple.
Hun!
I thought she would be fine too, but the moment the first petal entered her, I knew, I had found the cultist of the beast god cult finally.
