"It had been two months already; I don't know how fucking long, it will take for the curtain to open," said the man to his friend as they walked past me.
It had been two months and thirteen days for me.
It is taking far more than I had thought it would take. I thought a month would be more than enough, but it had been over two and there was no sign of the curtain opening.
"Ross, my favorite client," said the woman with glowing red cheeks. "Neena, it seemed like, you have got your hands on some good stuff," I said, looking at the few things, that caught my interest.
"I didn't want to sell them, but girls got to eat," she said, and I rolled my eyes, before starting haggling with her.
A few minutes later, I walked out of her shop and walked into a different shop. I had shopped for one and a half hours, before walking out of the market.
In these two months, the population had increased by many times and the market has become bigger.
I had sold the entire essence collection; I had. Those are the essences I had crafted as the practice and sold them all. I only kept those, that I would need, but not too many.
As soon as the inheritance is ready, my clone will go back to its job.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt is not just the essences, I had sold. I have sold many potions and other alchemical materials I had produced. Aside from that, I had sold many artifacts, I had forged, but all these couldn't be compared to the sheer amount of resources I had sold.
I had a huge number of resources that I didn't need, and I used this opportunity to sell it all.
I had not only sold the resources I did not need but also those I had in excess. Like those produced in my core. Aur roots, merbas flowers, even stainless lotuses, and a few metal-essence fruits.
People went crazy for some of those resources.
There are so many people here, that 99% of the things I brought out had been sold. People always need things. If they didn't need it, their families and friends would, and even their organization would.
I had brought the resources for my organization, too. Every day, there is a list released by the organization for the things it needs.
You can buy them for the organization, and it will pay you back.
I had sold things, and in return, I had got amazing. There is even a miracle fruit, which I had exchanged for the metal-essence fruit.
Of course, I didn't just sell those precious resources. They were traded with other things; I am not an idiot to sell things like metal-essence fruit for crystal or resources.

Soon, I reached the abode and, like always, I cast a glance at the curtain before opening the door of my abode and entering inside.
Like always, I entered the living room and laid down on the couch, before closing my eyes.
A few seconds later, I am standing in front of a big, runic humanoid. It is big, made of millions of runes.
In these two and a half months, I had made massive progress; beyond what I had imagined. I thought it would take me five to six months more, but I will be finished in less than three.
My inheritance is nearly complete. I am just two and three days away from the finish. After that, I would check it for the mistakes, before using it to level up.
I am working sixteen-hours a day and with eight of my clones.
I didn't cut any corners as one might think and did better than I had imagined. Especially when it comes to ancient runes.
I am extremely happy with the progress I have made in it. On this inheritance, there are more ancient rune formations than I had originally planned, which will make it stronger and efficient.
I admired it for a few seconds before I sat on the table and started working.
I need to finish the work as soon as I can, and it is not difficult. I had already finished the difficult work, only the time-

Hours passed, and it was evening, when I opened my eyes and freshened up, before walking out of my room. I shopped in the market, before joining the people from my street for the party.
Not all people have inheritances like me to create.
They have quite a lot of time on their hands, which they use to make friends, party, and do other things. I do not blame and even feel a little jalousie, that I won't be able to stay for more than two hours.
Even that was a stretch for me, usually, I stay for an hour before leaving.
Once the inheritance is done, I will have some free time. I have already thought about what I would do, there are many things I want to do.
It was past ten when I returned and worked till it was midnight before sleeping again.
"Done,"
Two and half days passed, and I was in front of a runic humanoid once again, but this time, there was a big smile on my tired face. I hadn't slept yesterday to finish the last bit off, and I did.
I had finished the inheritance, and it was magnificent, better than I had planned in my mind.
I turned to the ancient runes and the smile on my face became brighter. I have done a great job. I now have confidence that I might be able to achieve the overly-ambitious target, I had set for the Earth Sovereign inheritance.
When I had set the target, I was high from my breakthrough into the Sovereign.
Working on the inheritance has given me the confidence to achieve that target. It will need a lot of hard work, but I will be able to achieve it.
"Let's check it for mistakes," I said to my clones and began to look at every formation of the inheritance for the mistake.
