Felicity froze in place. Vermont sensed her "compliance" and kissed her even harder.

introduced her to you? How many times have you done it with her? And where do you two normally meet?"
Vermont kept quiet.
Then, he asked, May I know who Emily Barr is?"
The police officer paused. "Didn't you bring her back home last night to have a threesome with your girlfriend? But,
the two women got jealous of each other, and your girlfriend called the police."
Vermont was shocked.
It felt like he had just listened to an unbelievable story, and he was the protagonist.
However, he was starting to remember what had happened last night bit by bit, upon listening to what the police
officer said.
He paused and his expression turned somewhat strange when he heard that Felicity called the police.
Then, he asked in a low voice, "Sir, what was my girlfriend's reaction when you broke in last night?"
The police officer was puzzled.
"What do you mean by that?"

misunderstanding. Ms. Barr came with one of my friends last night, and I didn't really know who she was. I had too
much to drink, so my friend asked Ms. Barr to send me back home. I had no idea what she did for a living, but we
don't share that kind of relationship with each other. I was in the Sapphire Clubhouse last night and plenty of my
friends can prove it."
He paused before he continued, "As for Ms. Thompson here, she's not my girlfriend. She's just my roommate, and a
very close friend of mine who's just temporarily staying with me."
Felicity was completely stunned.
