smiled. They warmly greeted Stella and asked about how she had been.

there's a hall available? It might turn out worse than this place."

Darcie had always been meticulous, so he let her pick the venue for Stella. However, he was not expecting things to
end up this way.
Darcie prepared everything herself and even carefully decorated Stella's room, leaving no detail overlooked.
Wenham had noticed it all. So, he knew that it was not fair to put the blame entirely on her.
"Never mind. Just forget it. Stella has got to like this place since she chose it herself. Her happiness is the most
important thing."
Then, he patted Darcie's shoulder. "Go on and get some rest, too. There'll be a lot of guests to entertain tonight."
"Okay," Darcie said and went upstairs with Wenham.
