Chapter: 288
ALL she could recall was heading upstairs with Rosalynn
She began drinking alone after being mocked by some wealthy Ladies.
She couldn’t recall anything else that had happened.
“Maggie, you were drunk last night. You kept scolding Sanford for being a jerk. You even poured wine
on his clothes and said you would beat him to death,” Rosalynn said with a chuckle.

She couldn’t believe her behavior when she was drunk.
Was she really that bold?
Now, she felt so powerless and embarrassed.
“Rosalynn, I…I had no idea that I was drunk and acted Like a Lunatic at the party,” Maggie said with a
hint of regret in her voice.
Rosalynn couldn’t help but tease her. “Oh, yes! The last time you were drunk, you behaved pretty well.”
Maggie looked upset and asked, “What should I do?”
She felt like she wanted to commit suicide from the embarrassment.
Rosalynn could no longer contain her laughter. “Don’t worry. I guess Sanford won’t hold it against you.
Come, let’s have breakfast.”
Maggie scratched her head and nodded in agreement.
After breakfast, they both walked out of the apartment and bumped into Sanford in the elevator.

Maggie also greeted him back. But unlike Rosalynn, she looked embarrassed.
Her seemingly hesitant response made Sanford raise an eyebrow. “I don’t believe we’ve met before,
have we?”
“No.” Maggie shook her head.
“Should I expect a beating?”
Maggie was speechless with embarrassment.
She wanted the floor to swallow her right where she stood.
