Chapter 87 Radley Is Not Unromantic
After Mikael finished speaking, he walked toward Radley and Freya.
The woman wanted to catch up with him but didn’t dare to.
With his hands in his pockets, Chris glanced at the woman and said, “You’ve got what you wanted. Leave quickly, or
you won’t get anything in the end.”
“Mick, I really love you!” The woman gritted her teeth.
Mikael had already walked up to Radley and smiled at Freya. “Freya, where are you going? It’s all my fault today.
I’m sorry to have frightened you.”
Freya smiled. “It has nothing to do with you. I actually want to thank you for what happened in the bar
before.”
“Oh, that? It was nothing” Mikael smiled.
After talking to Freya briefly, he felt a cold gaze on him.
He turned his head and saw Radley’s darkened expression. “Are you done talking? If you’re done, take your woman
and go.”
Mikael made an innocent face. “We’ve already broken up.”
The woman stood not far away. She looked reluctant to leave. She had tears in her eyes as she looked over.
At the side, Chris said, “Are you going back to the Monaghan’s mansion, Radley? I haven’t visited your grandma
since I came back from Vroria. Can we tag along?”
Mikael nodded in agreement.
Radley saw through his cheeky friends’ intention and sneered. “Do as you wish.”
He turned and opened the car door. “Freya, get in.”
Not far away, Chris clicked his tongue twice while getting into the car.
“He sounds rude when he talks to us, but his voice is so gentle when he talks to Freya.”
Mikael drove the car with a forced smile. “It seems like Radley is serious this time.”
Chris wasn’t bothered. He leaned on the car window with his elbow. “Forget it. Freya has been with him for two
good years, yet all he did was ignore her. I think he’s just unable to accept their divorce and will soon forget about

Then, Mikael raised his eyebrows. “Wanna bet?”
“Depends on what we are betting on.”
“What about your newly opened restaurant?”
The two lads chatted away and when Danna came up in the conversation, Chris scoffed coldly. “Just look at Danna. I
wouldn’t even want her on my bed. Just how blind Radley had been to be with her for so many years?”
Mikael sighed. “Love is so confusing. You forgot that Danna saved Radley when he was a child. Childhood
experiences can have a big impact on a person.”
“I heard Matthew is pursuing Freya recently, and they even had a scandal on the Internet before.” Chris rubbed his
chin.
Then, Mikael sneered. “He’s no match for Radley.”
Chris frowned as he was a little worried. “Radley is not romantic at all. He’s like a block of ice. Matthew is a veteran
of flirting and dating, and Freya is the heiress of the Kaufmann family, who has been protected since childhood.
How could she win against Matthew? Maybe she’ll fall for his tricks.”
“Chris, the three of us grew up together, but your ability to judge people hasn’t improved.”
“What do you mean?” Chris gritted his teeth.
“Radley is not a block of ice that doesn’t understand romance. Has he ever failed when he is determined for
something?” Mikael sneered at Chris and glanced at him from the side. “And that Miss Kaufmann is not as stupid as
you think. She was able to support the Kaufmann family when Braxton was injured. Do you think just any ordinary
person can do that?”
Chris thought about it before saying. “You have a point.
At this time, the cars drove into the Monaghan’s mansion.
As soon as Daniella heard Freya was coming, she came out to greet Freya before the latter could get into
the house.
“Frey, did you miss me?” Daniella smiled.
Freya held Daniella and caught a glimpse of Radley, who was getting off the car. There were noticeable stains on
his white shirt, caused by the roasted chestnuts from the accident just now.
Mikael and Chris also got off the car, and they were courteous in front of Daniella, just like two ambitious- young
people.
“Hello, Daniella.”
“Daniella,”
Daniella recognized these two people and smiled. “You two cheeky fellas. I haven’t seen you guys for a long time.
Did Chris grow taller again?”
The group entered the main hall. It was a weekend, so Hannah was also home.
She looked up and saw Freya. But then, her face looked complicated.
Hannah was angry at Freya because Freya had hurt her pride at the Joint Department before, but Hannah still
approved of her deep down.
In the end, Hannah coldly ignored her as she put on an emotionless expression.
Chris saw Hannah and teased her as usual. “Hannah, do you miss me?”
Hannah snorted. “Chris, I’m a freshman. Don’t talk to me like a child.”
Then, Mikael patted Hannah’s head and smiled. “How are your studies recently?”
“It’s okay.”
Chris stared at them. “Isn’t he treating you like a child too? It is not good to be biased.”
The group was joking and laughing. Meanwhile, Freya sat firmly as she chatted with Daniella.
Radley sat aside while he listened to them catching up.
It was quiet where Radley and Freya were and lively where Chris and Mikael were.
The atmosphere in the hall was joyful, and Daniella was overjoyed too. Tm really glad to see all of you here today.
No one can leave tonight. I’ll have the kitchen make your favorite dishes!”
Naturally, no one had any objections.
After Daniella stayed with Freya for a while, she reluctantly went to take a nap.
After Freya returned from sending Daniella to her room, she sat on the sofa and watched the others joke around.
“Freya, since you are calling me ‘Mick, can I call you Frey?” Mikael smiled.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmFreya’s eyes narrowed when she smiled. “Okay.”
Mikael was a tricky and persistent guy. He was polite with his words and it was hard for Freya to refuse
him.
Then, Chris chimed in, “Frey, just call me by my name too. Forget the formalities. Now that you’re a friend of mine,
I’ll take care of you well in Hartterre!”
Radley quietly added. “She doesn’t need you to take care of her.”
Chris smirked and revealed his pearly whites. “Does that mean that you will be taking care of her?”
With that, Radley could only scoff.
Whenever he called Freya by her name, she would still address him in a distant way or by “Mr. Monaghan” during
official business hours.
However, these two guys had unexpectedly gotten closer to Freya sooner than Radley could!
They chatted for a while, and Chris suggested playing poker. Then, they moved to the side hall.
Hannah didn’t know how to play poker, so she sat obediently beside Radley and tried scamming him for some
pocket money. “Radley, it’s your fault if you lose. But if you win, the money belongs to me, okay?”
Radley agreed.
Freya, Mikael, and Chris each took their own cards.
After a few rounds, Chris smirked.
