Chapter 488
Elise felt bad for her grandson after all. “Dr. Smith, don’t mind my grandson and his girlfriend. They're just too
young and naive.”
Tanner had no idea how to respond and could only look at Kayson,
“Whatever Madam Snyder says, ” Kayson answered.
Tanner snapped his head to tell Jaden and Luna at once, “I'll dismiss this as a favor for Madam Snyder.”
Jaden and Luna stood aside nervously, and Elise told them, “Have a seat now. It's not nice to keep standing.” It
was only then that the two of them dared sit down, but they dared not look at Kayson. The latter represented
mystery and power to them right now. Elise said politely, “Dr. Smith, please have a look at my illness.”
“Madain Snyder, are you messing with me. You don’t needwith MI. Idrae here. Idner

th me? You don’t needwith Mr. Yarde here.” Tanner
chuckled wryly
“Is Kayson really so good?” Elise asked in astonishment.
Tanner sighed. “I dare say that | am not the best doctor in Skyriv, nor is Zachary Ewell the best doctor in
Clouspring. Mr. Yarde here is the best.”
This shocked everyone else in the hall. Even though Talia and Violet knew that Kayson practiced medicine, they
did not dare believe that he was actually so skilled.
The top doctor in Skyriv... Could what their aunt had said be true? Could Kayson’s medical prowess be the best
in the world? But he was so young-how was it possible... Violet was completely stunned as her eyes were trained
on Kayson in immense shock.
Elise was a little antsy as well. Kayson must be accomplished in medicine for Tanner to say that. Has she not
taken Kayson seriously enough then?
“Madam Snyder, just treatlike a regular young man. No need to overthink it,” Kayson said. This relieved
Elise, who smiled kindly. “Thank you, Kayson.” “You're most welcome. I'll perform acupuncture on you first.”
“Sure.” Elise nodded.
Tanner asked nervously, “Mr. Yarde, can | watch from the side?”
He had witnessed Kayson'’s abilities personally back in Roselle Lodge and he acknowledged that he was unlike
Kayson.
“Up to you.” Kayson did not refuse. He then put the needles in Elise. The latter's state was similar to paralysis
after a stroke, but there was actually shardening of the blood vessels and irregular blood flow that caused
her to have difficulty moving Aller Kayson used inind expansion on her, though, he was surprised to see that

tiny bit of energy hidden in her knee joint. He asked, “Madam Snyder, was it your right knee that hit the ground
when you fell?” “It's been years, yet you can still see that?” Elise asked in surprise. “I can treat you, but can you
taketo the place where you fell back then?” Kayson replied.
“Of course. It’s the deserted plot of land west of the tea plantation at the back of the mountain. Violet knows
where it is.”
“Okay.”
Kayson nodded. The biggest issue with Elise was the hidden energy in her knee. She was not trained in energy,
so the unwelcpresence of energy within her showed up as pain. Once he eliminated it and gave her some
herbal soup to soften the blood vessels, she would be fine.
When the hidden energy was easily taken away, Elise exclaimed, “Kayson, my leg doesn’t hurt anymore. It's
magical!”
“Grandma, is this for real?” Violet gasped. Talia’s big eyes shone with victory. “The person | brought hhealed
grandma. | claim credit!”
“Okay, okay. I'll make you sgoodies soon.” Kayson told Tanner, “Please fetchsmedicine, Mr. Smith.”
