Earlier today, she'd suddenly cin to wipe his desk, while putting herself within his reach the whole time... before pretending to trip over, so that she could throw herself onto him! What else could she have done that for?! She hadn't managed to pull it off earlier... so she'd cto make a repeat attempt! If she could get her hands on the camera recordings, she might be able to prove that she hadn't actually heard Edith and Jasper talking. She'd only caught sight of them together for a moment...
Then she'd be able to prove her own innocence, and clear her name! No more suspicions about her being the company gossip rag! So all she needed to do was get him to look through those recordings himself... and then the truth would be laid bare! Yes, she'd persuade him to do exactly that... tomorrow!
