227 I’m Going To Declare A War!
(Jane’s PoV)
I let myself being led into the spacious room. Rows of maids were standing in the hall way with their heads slightly bowed but their eyes were clear and full alert. The massive pillars looked outstanding and fantastic that I could only look at it in awe.
Who built this palace, I wonder?
Ah well, at one glance I could guess what race had built it. Obviously it wasn’t human.
Pulling back myself from getting deeper into my imagination, I started to anticipate my meeting with the well-known Queen of South Sea. But, what I anticipated the most was to meet with my father.
I hoped he was untouched, as healthy as he could be. If I found any trace of discomfort from him, I would make sure that Queen answered to my questions.
With that thought in mind, my steps were getting firmer and more confident. Soon, we met with a big door made of gold with exquisite pattern on it. It looked heavy and I was expecting a show where some women would work hard to open it. However, to my surprise, one of the women who led my way put one of her hand on it and with light push, the giant door was opened.
She was so damn strong!
After that, I was led again to enter the room behind the door. This time I felt as if I entered a big aquarium. On my right and left side was walls made of glass. I could practically see the fish and any sea creatures went forth and back through the transparent wall. Not too far in front of me was a majesctic looking throne. It was either made of gold or covered with gold, with sophisticated carvings and some gems decorating the throne.

Sitting on it was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen on earth. Her elegance was even in rival with those from human kingdoms. Her gaze was soft and warm, yet there was powerful current hiding behind it. Even with the gentle and elegance appearance, I could still feel the formidable force possessed by this Queen.
Her body emitted soft and warm glow, making her looked like celestial being -if celestial being did exist, of course. Just like what people said, she was wearing green dress, fitting tightly on her body. Creme and green silk draped on her waist and dragging across the floor along with her dress. Her crown was so beautiful, with strings of jasmines dangling along her black cascaded hair.
She was exceptionally beautiful that it was hard to find anyone to compare with her in the human realm.
“My Queen, we have brought the guest here.” One of my escorts spoke softly as soon as we stopped in front of her.
“Greetings for the Queen of South Sea.” I bowed my head politely as I greeted her.
“I never thought that his child would be one of mystical army’s masters.” The Queen said unhurriedly yet sounded soft and warm.
I smiled in response. “I want to see my father.” I said directly.
“He is fine.” The Queen said softly, probably hoping that it would comfort me.
“Then, it’s not difficult to bring me to see him.” I retorted back as polite as I could be.
The Queen smiled. Her smile was so gentle that I had no heart to trouble her. She looked so gentle and kind-hearted that it would be difficult to associate her with any malicious plans.
However, I snapped out of it quickly. Don’t be a fool! A psychopath could kill even with a smile on his/her face and would still feel innocent!
Hardening my heart, I focused my mental strength to protect my consciousness. If she would use some charms to lower my guard, I would not hesitate to break her spell and confront her.
“I want to see my father.” I repeated my request firmly.
Maybe it was my eyes playing with my mind, but for a split second I saw something cracked behind her gaze. She almost lost her composure under my stubborn resistance. What was it? Was her gentleness a lie?
Why did I have the urge to test it?
“Show me the Black Creese first before I let you see your father.” She was still smiling but her tone sent chill and shiver down my spine.
See? Her true color was showing up.
I smirked. “My Queen, the deal is for you to let me see my father before I can show you the creese.” I said calmly. After all, I needed to make sure that he was fine before I took out the creese. If something happened after I took out the creese, I was sure my father could handle it since he was the master of the creese.
“Milady, it’s advisable for you to do what the Queen said. After all, you father is a guest here.” The maid from before said in an even tone, neither overbearing nor arrogant. However, the threat behind it was as clear as the ocean behind the glass wall.
“So, it was true that my father was kidnapped here for evil intention.” My expression changed as I lost all the respect I should have towards this famous figure in front of me. “After all, why would a kingdom that only has women inside kidnap a man? Whatever your reason is, you must be harboring bad thought.”
“Child, don’t overthink things. We don’t harm your father even a slightest. But, we also have to make sure that you have the Black Creese with you.” The Queen’s voice hardened as her eyes were glaring at me ferociously.

What could happen to the most formidable Queen in astral world that she would be agitated to this state? What could be possibly bothering her?
From the story I heard, even when she went berserk, she wouldn’t lose her composure like this. She would show her anger but never lose her elegance and rationality. Even when I hated the fact that they were trying to threaten me, I couldn’t help but analyze the possibility of this situation from another point of view.
I didn’t even try to separate two of my thoughts, it just happened like that. One of my thought was to kill whoever tried to threaten me using my father, and my second thought was to know what happened to the wonderful Queen of South Sea to make her acting not like herself.
Not that I had seen her before. But the thought just came to me like soothing wind during dry season.
It’s refreshing and unavoidable. I had no other choice but to notice it.
“My Queen, I can assure you that the Black Creese is with me. Why don’t you take my father out and I’ll take the creese out? The only one who can verify the originality of the creese is my father, isn’t he?”
I was expecting some stupid maid came out to interrupt my conversation with the Queen -just like those people in the s I read before who were so eager to meet their Creator, however these maids were all well-trained. Maybe they had sensed their Queen’s anger, therefore they didn’t say anything at all. On the other hand, I was waiting for someone stupid to vent on the discomfort I felt inside.
It was too bad there was no mole inside this palace, which meant I couldn’t vent and also, the reason for the Queen’s agitation was not from inside.
“Fine.” The Queen relented as she stood straight. “Bring Lord Satya here.” She voiced her command and three of her maids bowed down in unison, heeding her command before they left the hall in unhurried steps.
“Child, you’d better bring the real creese, otherwise, I wouldn’t mind making you my prisoner for lying to me.”
“My Queen.” I smiled at her. “I really have no idea that the formidable Queen of South Sea is someone who really likes to threaten people. After all, you are a Queen. Even your presence can make people cower in fear. But, I have never heard that you are someone who could easily lose her temper. Also, I don’t really like getting threatened by other people, especially when the one you put as the guarantee is my own father.” My smile gradually disappeared as my eyes were staring at her in all seriousness.
“Queen of South Sea, you had better listen to me. If I see or notice any discomfort that you guys inflicted upon him, trust me that I’m going to declare a war against you.”
