Two days ago—exclusive auction.
"It would be hilarious if we could sell an Earthian cell phone." Charlotte commented with an evil grin.
"That would rake in a fortune." Miskie laughed.
"The look on their faces once it died would be price~less." Charlotte laughed.
"Then they'd get all [I'll murder you. Just wait until my weak guards hear about this]!
We'd be like, [we told you it'd turn into a fancy mirror during the auction].
They'd be like, [I didn't listen to you.
Seize them! Gahhhh. How did this happen]!?
Then we could remind them that they didn't listen about our strength either.
They'd yell [you tricked me!], and it would be a great night."
The group laughed about it.
"Ummm. War Goddess." A nervous voice called out.
"You're Mark, right?" Riley asked with a gentle smile.
The nervous weeb blushed with embarrassment when Riley remembered him.
"Y-Yes. I just wanted to tell you…." Mark said nervously.
"We… My Nightmare [Shock Bolt] allows me to control electricity.
So I can charge a phone for you."
The group's eyes widened in shock.
Everyone around them was stunned with disbelief.
"Then why haven't ya been sayin' that, kid?" Miskie huffed.
"We coulda made a fortune by now!"
Mark recoiled reflexively and gave everyone a wry smile.
"It's just… I feared that Ronka would start using me…."
The power-weebs groaned in understanding.
Super-otakus also nodded with grave expressions.
"That's why I haven't disclosed it up to this point." Mark continued nervously.
"But while I'm here, I'm willing to do so.
I trust that you won't take advantage of me."
Charlotte tried to play with him, but Riley gave her a murderous glare.
She stared at Riley in confusion.
"What is it, Rize?" Charlotte asked in disbelief.
Riley turned to Matt.
"Matt, if you can do that for Helix tomorrow, we'd be very grateful." She said with a bow.
Charlotte's face lit up with understanding.
"Oh yeah…." She whispered.
"Yes. We'd be genuinely grateful." Charlotte added with a serious expression.
"W-What's going on?" Mark cried in disbelief.
"Helix has a book that he loves dearly." Riley explained.
"It's on his phone, and he would be genuinely grateful if you charged it."
Mark's face lit up with excitement.
Knowing he could do a favor for the War Commander and his Goddess' was a dream come true.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtMiskie was still eyeing him like a hawk, but he didn't notice her.

One day ago—Burlow Street Park.
The otakus and weebs were exchanging cards and having conversations at the park.
Marie was pleased by the situation, and it left a warm smile on her face.
"Helix always has the most creative solutions." She giggled.
"I think it's fantastic." Riley commented with a warm smile.
"I think it's evil, manipulative, and extremely~hot." Charlotte smacked.
The women burst into giggles.
Mark walked up with a nervous smile on his face.
His heart was pounding.
"Here's War Commander Helix's phone." Mark announced while pulling it out of his item storage.
"I practiced on my friends' phones first.
I messed up Listie's phone during the practice… so I was hoping you could thank her."
The young man took a bow with shame in his eyes.
"We'll thank Listie and give her a prized expression of her choosing." Marie commented with a regretful smile.
"We'll do the same for you."
"I-I couldn't… I was repaying my gratitude for removing Ronka—"
"Your contribution is important to Helix." Riley said with a gentle smile.
"He asks for very few things in this world, and you gave him something that he believed to be unobtainable."
Marie nodded with a warm smile.
"Therefore, it is only right we will compensate you." She added.
"Besiiiiides. He would've taken out the trash anyways." Charlotte added with an aloof expression.
"So this is a favor for nothing in his eyes."
Mark's eyes sparked.
He wanted to do something nice for his leaders.
However, he didn't expect compensation.
"In a couple of days, we'll let you two pick out some items and give smaller prizes to the others that helped." Marie said with a smile.
"We'll have to give Helix his surprise first."
—
Present-day.
"Oh~Hellie…." Charlotte sang.
Helix smiled when he heard her voice.
His eyes were still closed.
"You're up early. You're always the last." Helix chuckled.
"Are you excited to go full yandere today?"
"Yep~" Charlotte replied.
"But we have a preh~sent for you."
Helix opened his eyes with a gentle smile.
Then he froze.
"You… charged it…." Helix muttered in disbelief.
"Yes. Mark and Listie helped you do it with Mark's [Shock Bolt] Nightmare." Riley said with a gentle smile.
"We figured it could help you."
Helix sat up and took the phone.
"Yes… more than you could ever know…." He whispered.
"Any~way. We need to beat the word of Tyrene into those helpless ex-virgins." Charlotte said with an evil grin.
"So we're heading out. See~ya~later."
Charlotte kissed him, followed by Marie and then Riley.
The three walked out of the door with full battle gear.
Helix forgot that training began that day for the otakus and weebs.
For the time being, he had different responsibilities, so he forgot that Marie was taking on that role.
In his mind, he was still thinking about the upcoming meeting with Masov and Salkey.
Helix stared at the phone and laughed.
Then he touched his neck and opened the Myriad library.
—
Query: General, unofficial request for Zenith.
—
The Myriad library returned zero results, which he found strange.
The page was simply blank.
So he waited for a minute.
Then another minute.
Helix had time, so he waited ten minutes in total.
His eyes were starting to burn with dryness, so he closed out of the library.
However, once he left, a new chat window popped up.
—
"You…."
Helix touched his neck twice in confusion.
"Hello, Ms. Zenith. Long time no—"
Words started blitzing out on the screen in a frenzy.
"Who-the hell-do-you-think-you ARE!"
Helix stared at the screen with a gaping expression.
"I—"
"First, you offer me Earthian information, I told you how much I wanted it, and you didn't return for FOUR MONTHS; now you're asking for an unofficial REQUEST!?"
Helix stared at the screen with disbelief.
"Ms. Zenith, I didn't—"
"Now you're making excuses!? *scoff*."
"No, I—"
"I don't want to hear it!
Don't talk to me if you're not asking for an official request!"
"Ms. Zenith, I'm—"
"Say this is an official request, or I'm closing this down!"
"Ms. Zenith!" Helix shouted.
"Now you're YELLING!? *murderous gaze*."
"I've brought you Earthian books!"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHelix shouted in his mind.
He wasn't angry with her, and his voice was baffled instead of angry.
He felt that shouting and cutting her off would be the only way he could speak to the raging librarian.
"W-What did you just say!?"
"Ms. Zenith. My partners found a way for me to charge my phone." Helix chuckled in bewilderment.
His tone cut down instantly.
"I never saw a message from you stating you wanted the information." Helix continued.
"But once I got the books I—"
"Give it to me! *panicked scream*."
"Yes… I will, but how?"
"I don't care!"
"You don't… Zenith, I have an Earthian phone with the information." Helix replied in perplexion.
"Can you steal it or something?"
"What!? I don't [steal] you swine!"
"Ms. Zenith, that's not what I meant." Helix replied in a panicked state.
"Then what [did] you mean!? *indignation*."
"I meant…. Can you take it off my phone?"
"...."
"...."
"I'm trying to. But I can't…."
"Then what can I do?" Helix asked.
"I automatically receive it if you speak, think, or write it."
"Zenith… these books are massive.
I don't have that much battery power.
My phone will die."
"Then how is it on!? You have a phone charger thingy, don't you!? *desperation*."
"The [phone charger thingy] is a human.
They helped me charge it, but I won't be with them forever." Helix sighed.
"Then start, now while you have your phone charger thingy!"
Helix was alone, and his partners weren't there for support.
So his natural melancholy hit him like a bag of bricks.
"Ms. Zenith. I can't do that." Helix sighed.
"I'm busy saving my phone charger from the giggle-witch, and they might die if I don't get information."
"What do you need! Start asking questions; I'll answer them! *panicked cry*."
Helix chuckled in disbelief.
He was grateful for the support but didn't need it, and the costs were excessive.
After thinking about it, he decided on the best strategy.
"Ms. Zenith. If I survive this encounter, I'll stay in Alzeria for the winter." Helix sighed.
"I'll try convincing Mark to help me, but I can't guarantee my phone won't get broken.
But I will try transcribing as many texts as possible for a minimum of two hours a week until my phone fries."
"Really!? *clasps hands*."
"Yes… In the meantime, can you help us stay alive?"
"Yes! What do you need?"
