"Those flying monsters seemed to have given up on attacking us with their projectiles."
"What about the labyrinths?"
A crew member bowed in front of the throne as he said, "Confirmation of the labyrinth's existence has been established. We've dispatched a few men there as you've ordered."
The man he had bowed to looked like he was still in his youth, no more than twenty one years old. His thick black hair reached to his knees, and his iris was golden yellow. There were two black horns on his head, the top half of which was golden yellow and matched the color of his eyes.
The man bowing in front of him appeared to be much older and had short black hair. Likewise, he had a pair of black horns protruding from his head.
"Hm~ Good. Question, do you think it's true that there are ghouls on the loose who have infected humans through a simple bite or scratch?"
The crew member nodded.
"Are all the other fleets aware of this?"
He nodded again.
"Hm~ Then why wasn't I told of this earlier?" He asked, with a frosty stare.
As the man struggled to force out the reply, he could hardly breathe from the pressure.
"My sincere apologies, sir. The discovery was recent. You were informed as soon as we discovered it."
A smile could be seen on the young man's face as the pressure was released from his back. The man, assuming he had been spared, was quick to thank him for his kindness.
"Thank-"
He was interrupted however, as his body suddenly exploded into pieces. Although his blood splattered all over, not a single drop landed on the young man seated on his throne.
"Clean this up." He said.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Understood."
A shadow flashed past, and all the blood or any trace related to the man which was once there, had vanished.
"Well then… I think we've all waited long enough. Before other races try to conquer this planet, why don't I give out the signal?" He asked as he pointed his finger up to the sky.
The air began gathering around his finger as a red orb manifested above it.
"The end… Start!"
*Swoosh!*
The orb was launched at the sky.

The next morning, the first thing Gray did when he got up was brush his teeth. He had spent a good time bonding with his right hand last night so he was experience post-enlightenment.
This led to him over thinking, to avoid that, the first thing he did was the daily quest after waking up. In order to stack up the points.
Gray's figure could be seen on the mansion's field running back and forth whilst timing himself.
"100 Meters In around three to four seconds at full speed…" He muttered.
[Agility: 29]
His agility was almost six times higher than when he started, meaning based on his calculations he should have been six times faster. That would have meant that before he was running 100 meters in 18 to 24 seconds which was not the case.
"Before I could run it at 15 seconds… So what exactly would the multiplier for each stat point be worth?" He asked himself.
After realizing that he had started to over think once again, he went back to doing the tasks. Shrugging it off as he decided to leave it for the future him to figure out.
[Pause] [Pause] [Pause] [Unpause] [Unpause] [Unpause]
Gray was currently in the process of training his pauses, he would throw the pebbles up into the sky before catching them with pause.
As he looked up at the sky, whilst doing so. Something caught his eye.
In the far distance, on top one of the largest ships, something was shinning brightly. A bright red aura filled the skies as the light seeped past even the clouds.
"What the-"
"It's begun."
Gray was interrupted by Lita who suddenly appeared beside him, her eyes shut as she stretched her arms out to the sky. His heart nearly jumped out of his chest, from her sudden appearance.
'She got here without me sensing her?'
Now that he thought about it, had he ever been able to sense her movements or even read her intention when she was in this state? Gray hadn't been paying much attention to her recently but, wasn't Lita the most dangerous and unpredictable one in his group.
The other side of her at least. The side which comes out as a result of her ability. But now wasn't the time to worry about that.
"What's begun?" Gray asked.
"Their attack." She replied.

The humanoid figures that were falling from the sky could be seen dropping in large numbers as they tumbled towards the ground at high speeds.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmUpon landing, their figures disappeared into the city. Due to their heavy weight, some created large sounds as they shook the ground. Others caught themselves on the building or stopped their momentum with their incredible acrobatics.
All those people shared one thing in common, they had horns.
As if the zombies were like flies to them, they quickly cleared them out of the area. Some made their ways to the labyrinth while others.
*Swoosh!* *BOOM!*
They caused mass destruction as some began to attack the buildings in the surroundings.

Veins could be seen bulging out of Gray's forehead and neck as he watched them release destruction.
"I know I said I don't care about others but... Watching them do as they please... That shit pisses me off." Said Gray
At that moment, a notification rung inside of his mind.
Evolution Complete]
[Congratulations, You have successfully become a chronos hafling]
Steam was slowly released off of Gray's body as he felt a surge of energy flow through it. The little amount of stamina he had lost whilst training seemed to have been replenished, the soreness of his body had completely evaporated along with it.
[Emotional state has now returned to normal.]
"Are there any changes now that the transformation is completed?" Gray asked the system.
[None, limitations have continued to be reduced.]
"Probability of me going to the city, killing them and returning alive?" Gray asked.
[Due to a lack of information, unable to answer.]
Gray clicked his tongue. "It's good enough for me, I'll be back before they're awake."
Those were his last words before vanishing.
